I Still Miss You So

Dear Gypsy Girl,

I still miss you...so much. I don't come to your page as often as I should, mostly because I get so sad. I type this with tears in my eyes, missing you. I know you're OK...that you're enjoying Heaven as you should, and that you still see things down here. I just hope you know how much I love you. You were my girl when I went through some tough times with a nasty job and a nasty "marriage"...thank you for being there for me...for helping me through.

Until we meet again, my dear spotted one. I hold your memory in my heart.

We never...

To all our dear friends,

If you are reading this, or even see that we've posted an entry, it means that you are one of our friends. And, we are so grateful for that.

We joined in May of this year, never realizing how much fun we'd have, how much we'd learn, or how many WONDERFUL pups and pawrents we'd come into contact with. We never realized how attached we'd get to some of them, or how much the passing of our friends through Dogster would crush us, break our hearts, or make us cry. We never realized how much we would pray for someone we'd never meet, or how often they would cross our minds throughout a "normal" day.

We never wanted to just reach out and hug someone, whether in celebration of something, or to try to take away the pain, like we have since joining Dogster. We never realized how much joy could come from someone acknowledging our silliness, or someone congratulating us on some achievement, or the comfort in getting a "hug" back when we ourselves had a bad day. We never knew there'd be so many listening ears or kind words as we've known to be here.

We never knew we'd learn so much, whether about making our page pretty or making ourselves healthier. We never knew about so many resources to help us be the best we could be. We never knew we'd be able to share little things that others outside of this site don't care to hear, so we wouldn't even mention it to them. We never knew that what we might say might influence someone's day. We never knew we had the power to make someone smile, until someone here thanked us for brightening their day.

For listening to our silly stories...we thank you. For all your kinds thoughts and hugs when we had bad days...we thank you. For all the times that someone celebrated us, or brought smiles to our faces...we thank you. For all these things we never knew that we never knew...we thank you. For making this a wonderful 2008...we thank you. For being our friends and being part of our lives in such a special way...we thank you. For holding a special place in our hearts in a way only you can...we thank you. And we love you.

Happy New Year , dear friends, and may good times and smiling faces continue in 2009. The sad times will come, as they inevitably do. But we'll be here to hug and listen. We'll be here to try to cheer you when you need it. We'll be here...and it's because of you.

I contributed $10 for his cause through PayPal. It's so little in comparison to the cost, but every bit helps and I know Atticus would be so very grateful! I guess I am also thinking of what my pal, Tucker, went through and wishing I could have done something to help him.

Hello to all my pals. I want to ask a big favor of all of you. Please go and visit my pal Atticus's page. Just click on the LINK above.

The name that has been given to me is Atticus. I am really the sweetest pup you will ever find. I have just had a rough start in my life. Please read my bio for my story.
So far I have found how wonderful life can be. I just love to play, but right now I have a really hard time just going out to potty. My back is hurt really bad. If I do not get treatment soon, I could become completely paralyzed.
I am so thankful for the kind humans that are trying their very best to help me. They have taken me to see the person they call the vet. I heard them say I need something called surgery. This will give me the chance at a normal pup life. I want to be normal like the other pups at my foster home. Right now, I have to stay inside all the time and just watch them out the window. This makes me cry!
I also heard my foster humans say this surgery is going to cost $6500.00.
I am not sure what this really means. I heard them say it is a lot of money and they must raise the money by Oct. 28. They said this is when I am scheduled to have this surgery thing done. I want it so bad. I want to be able to run and play like all my pals. Without it, this will never happen and I will start to get a lot of pain, then I will not be able to even go out for a potty break.
I am a pup with a lot of love to give and a very big heart! My foster humans tell me times are really bad for people right now. That it will be hard to get this thing they call money. If any of you out there has even a dollar to spare, will you please help them get this money?
Dogster has been so kind as to allow us to ask for your help. Without all you pups, I just do not know what I would or will do.
