What the heck is going on?

Boy, I don't know what mama's up to. First she takes me to that awful kennel place and it seemed like I was there forever. The only good thing about that place, besides leaving it, is the couch time. They actually sit on the couch with me while I cuddle up and snooze. Just like at home!! Too cool!

Then she picks me up and tells me 'grandma and grandpa are coming'. Sure enough, we had company for a week. Boy, was it neat! I hardly had to be alone at all. Me and grandpa are best buds and grandma even took me for a walk (something mama never does, hint hint)! But then, I went away to the bad place again. Mama said she was going to Uncle Dan's house and I wouldn't like it there because there are three big dogs. I suppose she's right - I like the little dogs the best.

Now she's back again - who knows for how long this time . . .

I'm Famous! Or so mama tells me . . .

Last week mama kept taking my picture when we were outside. She was driving me crazy with that darn camera - but I guess she got some good ones cause she was really happy. I was just so glad to be outside sniffing around in the yard and keeping those bunnies away.

Then this morning, she was getting ready for work and she tells me I'm famous! I guess she sent one of those pictures of me into the news station and they put it on the air! I think this is just the start . . . Hollywood, here I come!

Whew! Back to normal!

Wow - it's been a crazy few weeks! Mama and I went for a ride in the car and we went to a house that had another doggie and . . . a cat! I had never met a cat before and wasn't too sure what to think about it - so, I figured I would just talk to it and see what happened. Well - she didn't like my 'talking' too well and so she hissed right back at me. We aren't the best of friends but hopefully we will just leave each other alone.

While I was exploring the house mama managed to slip out and leave. She didn't come back for two whole weeks! I gave Jon and Kim a run for their money - they learned all kinds of new things about me and I know I made them thankful for how well behaved their little Jasmine is! Mama forgot to tell Kim how much I 'love' the vacuum cleaner! I loved to lay on the sofa - there was this one area that was my favorite.

Mama finally came back and I was very happy to see her. She said she missed me so much and was glad to see me. All I know is it was waaay better than staying in the kennel where I usually have to go. I hope I wasn't too bad for Jon and Kim and they will invite me back. In the meantime, we are going to have Jasmine over. I'm excited to see her again!
