Leave a bone for Hannah

Nicknames: Hannah Banana, Boo-boo, Hanushka

Quick Bio:
Likes: frisbees, Bon Homme, soccer balls, the beach(chasing seagulls)

Pet-Peeves: being told to stop begging, playtime ending

Favorite Toy: Roger, her very first green beanie-bear, may he rest in peace.

Favorite Food: anything mom and dad are eating; BACON!!!!

Favorite Walk: The Beach

Best Tricks: catching the frisbee

Arrival Story: We did a little bit of preliminary research about Tollers and went to see a litter of puppies. She was so cute, the smallest of the litter, mismarked for show status and hid under the couch as her brothers and sisters romped all over us. We had to bring her home, against all the advice in "expert dog book" that tell you not to pick the shy one - we have learned that she was not actually shy just very independent and smart. She is the light of our life and not a day goes by that I dont thank her for being such a wonderful girl!!

Hanna's dad here (aka Hannah's houseboy); just thought I would contribute to this excellent effort begun by her mom, Elizabeth, and her Aunt Lauren.
Hanna is my first dog, and by that I mean to say that she is the first dog I have had on my (our) own since I was a boy. The experience has been nothing I could have prepared myself for, or would even have been able to fathom just a year-and-a-half ago.
She is my sweet, gentle, loving, beautiful, and vibrant little partner. My daughter! I am continuously surprised at how she has changed (and continues to change) the quality and depth of my feelings about our relationship, and the nature of a man's love for his dog.
Long gone are the days when I believed, or rather thought I believed, that a "dog" should not be allowed on the furniture, or in different areas of the house. Let alone the put-my-foot-down attitude about her snuggling on the comforter next to me at night! It is now all I can do to not crowd her at home with relentless hugs and kisses. Just reading back what I have already written here is incredible, even to myself.
Hannah projects as much subtlety of emotion as that of any person I have ever met, and a more joyous and energetic attitude than most humans I spend time with. Whether if I am running with her in the yard, throwing the "birdie" to her at the beach, or watching her reward my mother with a load of quick kisses in return for a baby carrot, she is truly the light of my life. In fact, she is chasing rabbits in her sleep right beside me now. Goodnight, Hannah. Goodnight everybody!
