Arrival Story: We adopted Maddox from the Sacramento SPCA last week. We thought we were going to adopt a medium size dog...maybe a staffordshire lab mix. When we got to the shelter all of those dogs were waayyyy to hyper. It was 15 minutes to closing time and I asked to see 1 more dog which happened to be Maddox. His mellow energy and sweet face just won us over. He really is just a sweet 100lb Rottador, who loves cheese and affection

Forums Motto: "Where you goin?"

The Groups I'm In:
HAVE A HEART, Rottweiler, When is your Bark-day???

I am a Rottador that was rescued, I would have been euthenized but the SPCA had an available spot, so I was transferred. Mommy almost past me by but she didn't and now I have a great new home. I love to meet oher dogs, and people. I love cheese, chasing squirrles when I get a chance, but nothing beats hanging out with my new pack leaders. I'm also really good at warding off raccoons. I'm SO good at learning new tricks.! As long as Mommy is patient with me, I can get it pretty quickly.

Well we've been a family for a whole month now and I've hardly been in trouble for anything. Except for yesterday.... while my mommy was upstairs I ate her lunch. What can I say she left it on the table and even though I already ate my lunch, hers smelled (and tasted) so much better! I have to say I'm a big fan of chicken and blue cheese potato salad.
I've been to a dog park twice already and I love it. I'm not crazy about how we get there. Mom has to work really hard to get me in the car. I love meeting all the new dogs comming into the park, but I'm not sure why all the dogs want to get into a pool of dirty water, but whatever, there are lots of squirrles there! Once I climbed half way up a tree and almost got one! Mom wasn't too happy about that. I think she likes the squirrles to stay in one piece.
