Arrival Story:
My people came to the adoption kennel with Blueberry to meet greyhounds who were available for adoption. I was really new there, and they didn't know about me until the lady there told them I'd come in. So, I was the last one they met, and I really liked them! I let them know by going to them and being my sweet little self. So, they decided that it should be me who came home with them, and I did!

Bio:
I never raced, the people on the farm thought I was too little and not suited for it,although my official name is Bank on Benefit. My mother is retired and she just went to her own forever home. Her name is Fast Dorothy D, or just Dee. My daddy is Be My Bubba. My brothers are Bank on Andy, Bank on Banker, Bank on Bloke and Bank on Buddha. My sisters are Bank on Bling, Copperkettleerin and Gizmo Bowl. I'd love to hear from any of them when they retire and find their own homes! Well, hounds, today started like any other Saturday. Then, Mom got my harness and put it on me. Dad took me and Blueberry out to the car. I was thrilled! I love meeting hounds and humans alike. We went to the building, and Blueberry started wagging her tail. Mom took out some papers and went inside. She came out a few minutes later and said I was enrolled in obedience class! I'm going to have to go to school! I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Then, we went to one of my favorite places, Three Dog Bakery to get some treats. While we were there, Mr. David came over to say good bye to us. Today was the last day the store was open! Where am I going to get my fancy treats now? I can't eat just any old milkbones, you know! Mom assures me there's another dog bakery in town that we can go to, but it won't be the same as seeing Mr. David.

Finally, though, we went to a fine arts festival. There was lots of fancy artwork. People went crazy over me! It was like I was a celibrooty! I sniffed around at a lot of the artwork, and I even got a nice greyhound picture there. That made the day a little better.
