Arrival Story:
our poor little matchdog spent his formative months in a cage in his first owner's hallway and was pretty much ignored. we rescued him from his staten island hovel and he came to live with us in brooklyn--where he promptly threw up because dave fed him about five pounds of turkey. max is still very much of a new yorker: he's suspicious of nature, prefers concrete to grass, drinks his coffee light, and knows a real bagel when he smells one. he's definitely lots of personality in a small package and is now letting us know he'd like a big dog to do his yorkie bidding...
