Arrival Story:
SPCA wouldn't let me adopt a dog so went to the stores. She was 4+ months old and had to be in a little cage in the back because she was unsellable due to kennel cough. no human interaction. Anyway, i guess i went there the first day she "got out" and could be adopted. They put her in the visitors room with me and it was love at first site. She was the most hyperactive, attention deficit thing i had ever seen. She didnt know which toy to play with, so grabbed one, saw another, dropped that toy to pick it up, saw another dropped that toy, and on and on. When she got in the SUV - totally different story, didn't move the 1.5 hours it took to drive home, shivering! When she got home it was back to normal! She is 2 and a half and still hyper, but now she likes cars :)
