A Pup named Bandit

I was at a shelter!!

OH NO! Yesterday mommy took me to S.I.C.S.A
I was being a bad doggie there. I was mean to the puppy cause he wasnt neutered yet and didn't wanna leave me alone, also I pooped on the floor. There was this great big rottweiler there.
People were so interested in me, but mommy said "no he's mine and not up for adoption." I was only there visiting cause mom volunteers there. All I can say is that she better not bring another mutt home, especially that big dog.
I'm glad she wasn't getting rid of me. I better be good just in case!

my hamster sis died yesterday, mommy had her for awhile...
in other news, mommy saw a coyote close to home, YIKES! I better not run off.
Mommy got her reimbursement check from vpi and she is happy! shes heard bad things about pet insurance. she got $120.85 from them the vet bill was $152.89. paying $32 is not bad.

man its been awhile...

mommy has not found a job yet, but thats another story...
On the 11th mommy took me to the vet, I hated it. I had to get all my shots, I got microchipped and the vet put something in my nose.
I have been a bad boy lately, i've pooped and peed in the house. I am being hardheaded right now.

So Where my mommy and I stay at now has a big backyard, its fenced in well, but mommy is still protective..
and she had a reason to!
on tuesday a female got into the yard and we got caught doing something...
mommy and her bff laughed it off and let me have my fun. well about 5 mins later the owner of the female showed up and did not think it was funny, she was about to pull us apart, can you believe that?
well we told her about what would happen if we were pulled apart.
so she watched in fear. mommy continued to watch t.v on her phone.... WHAT? you can watch t.v. on a phone? I need thumbs.
when we were done the lady said something like: "you are responsible for this" mommy said no she isn't and that If she was watching her dog and had her leashed it would've never happened, and that she should be spayed. well they exchanged words for awhile. and I thought mommy why don't you tell this lady that I am neutered? mommy didn't though and I dunno why.

Yay I am one!!!!

I wanted to post this earlier but every time I get on, someone else needs to use the computer. UHHHH.... I miss my old home...
I will go into details about that later, but as of now lets talk about happy times.

well not really, that means I'm getting old.
mommy said that she will get me something later, but i rather spend time with her, so I got my gift. I was treated like a king all day.

WHOOPS!!!

I had scared my mommy, guess what I did.
Well I was so happy when my grandma came in from work, I scooped up some kibble and swallowed them, Then I started to choke!
My mom panicked!
She stuck her human finger in my mouth and pulled out the lodged kibble.
I was shaking badly, it scared me too.


On a brighter note, I took pictures with Santa Clause, yay.

Expired vitamins

on sunday night (last) someone pointed out to my mommy that my vitamins were expired possibly in 2006 uh oh...
she has been giving them to me for almost a month.
I have been acting drowsy lately, but my mommy isnt sure its the pills. I'm going to the vet to make sure im not ill.
People don't be an idiot like my mommy check the bottles for an experation date!!

I got some gifts...

my mommy bought me a Rapidbath system, I was scared of it first but I warmed up to it. It makes bathing easier and faster.
She also got a pedipaws from bed bath and beyond, this makes nail trimming easier. I think the pedicure may be better, but my mom didnt want to wait weeks to get it, and pay for shipping + 29.99 for the pedicure.
She got us some merrick canned to try out, as of now I like.
She says she'll get a dry bag when I finish a bag of either my orijen 6 fish, Orijen Puppy, or Innova. See I'm on a rotational diet, which is great.

I'm a naughty dog

yesterday I swallowed a stocking cap.
my mom forced me to vomit by forcing peroxide down my throat.
and it worked I will never do that again.

Wheres the power? Oh there it is

Well on the 14 our power went out and we didnt get it back on until 11:20pm today...
thats a week without power!!
and it was awful...
I couldnt eat canned food, my mom and her mom had to throw out all their foods, including mine.
they had to spend money on fast foods everyday (which was a waste of money, they gave her either cold or tasteless foods).
It was awful, I was so scared.......
I'm so happy to have the things that are given to me.
when the power came back on I was so scared, my mom was happy.
then she got sad again, because theres no food.

well i'm off to watch animal planet

If only my mom owned a video camera....

Well I do some very odd, hilarious things.
for example: when someone approaches the door I howl really loud, I wonder if that runs people off?
I sound like a huge dog!!
I also growl and run when things are out of place.

is planets funniest animals still taping?
well I dont think that show gives a grand prize, but it would be nice to win Americas funniest home videos. if that show is still on..

oh and YAY! my mom bought me another hame bone and got me some new toys!

Hip Hip Hurray!!

My mom had ordered some things from k9 cuisine, she got samples of california natural, canidae, evo reduced fat, holistic select, natures variety prairie & instinct, The honest kitchen preference, verve, and thrive. She bought me solid gold seameal powder-- which I love.
She also bought Orijen Puppy, yummy.
She also ordered The honest kitchen force 4oz travel bag but only got a 1 oz bag?

Shes so happy her order came less than 24 hours (home delivery)
But was mad to know that fed ex didn't call to tell anyone that they had dropped the package off at the door!! what if someone stole it?

I'm happy, my mom must be obsessed with dog food, because I still have a bag of Evo, a bag of Innova puppy, sample packs of before grain, and now Orijen.
And I saw her researching on Solid Gold and Wellness, oh dog!
Is she a dog food hoarder?
well at least she is not hoarding dogs

well today I had gotten groomed, they said i hated it-- tattletales :p
my mom says they did an ok job, but hopes that they were nice to me!
I look weird though, my ears looks HUGE.
My mom really dislikes my cut :(

rimadyl?

well if anyone remembers my blog on my neutering...
after surgery the vet prescribed rimadyl, well two days later I started to vomit (not a lot) and dry heave.
so my mom researched rimadyl and found out this medication has serious side effects, and now she is scared to give me any more.
Saturday my mom took me to the vet to check up on my neutering, and she told them about my vomiting. they told her to stop the medicine, and to call them if i'm in any pain.

why mom why?

I am very upset, I was bamboozled today.
This morning I thought I was going somewhere fun.
But no I went to the vet to get neutered!
I am very upset about this

YaY! I completed puppy class

Today I had graduated from puppy school.
I'm so happy!!
There was another dog there named Stanley that graduated with me.
when I first started there was a lot of people there but after about 3 weeks people stopped coming. I wonder why?
anyways I will miss those pups. one week i was the only pup that showed and I got a private class. I think I'm the only one that showed every week.

I'll miss the trainers dogs Pop Tart, Toaster, Dexter, even that new dog I just met today.
Oh and me and Stanley played for awhile he kept hitting me with his paws, hes a boxer. He beat me at a game where we have to sit and stay for the longest, and the dog that laid down lost. well you guessed it I lied down.
at the end of class I shared my cookies with every dog.

Saturday July 26 2008 Puppy class Graduate

I had fun today

Today I went to the bark park which makes it my second time.
There was a cute white dog there that kept playing with me.
He seemed very friendly but I’m shy. After a couple more visits ill own that park!!
A poodle jumped on my mom and got mud on her. I wanted to get muddy but she stopped me from going in the mud and picked me up then that’s when the poodle jumped. That’s what she gets for not letting me get my paws dirty. ha ha ha. My mom loves dogs it caught her off guard it was hilarious, if my mom would’ve fell I would’ve ran in the mud, rolled in it and then jumped on her. That would be funny.
I'm a very submissive pup and my mom doesn’t know if it’s a good or bad thing.
I love to be the boss at home, I play rough with my owner and her nephew, and I even mess with the hamster. But when dogs are around I get scared.
All the dogs there are so cute and friendly.

Tuesday june 10 2008 (what a day)

I went to the vet and had to get my last series of shots.
I hate needles!!!
then I went home grabbed a chicken bone off the ground and ran, my owner tried to get it but I swallowed it whole.
she got very scared, I didn't mean to scare her I just wanted that bone :-(
so she called the vet and the vet told her to induce vomiting and if that didn't work I may need surgery to remove it.
so my owner induced vomiting and I threw up everything else but the bone. then 20 minutes later my owner did it again and I threw up the bone.
I hate vomiting
My owner noticed that i swallow everything whole.
on top of that I overheard her talking about neutering me!!
OH NO

pup overload!!

I have been going to training classes for almost 4 weeks now.
I have learned new things, but all I want to do is play with the other puppies. Why doesn't my owner get that? how about she be trained and I sit and watch her? how about letting me tell her what to do?
and I just learned that I go to the groomer for the first time this week.
can a pup catch a break?
oh and I have to go to the vet.
I love her though and she means well, but I want things to go my way.
I am her first (real) pet, she was a parent of hamsters. I currently share a home with one. yesterday she put the hamster in a roll-about and the thing chased after me!! I ran off pretty fast; then I thought, "I'm part yorkie my ancestors were bred to kill vermin." so I chased after her and jumped on the ball. I want a roll about, too!!
