HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY

Mom says Happy Memorial Day to all the doggies here & their families. Mom's grown up pup & her 2 puppies are here staying with us till later today. the pup named Freddy is fun to play with. He will cuddle me & chase me.
My wife Sassy & I are gonna have pups of our own again soon. Mom says the end of June. My daughter Lady will be getting ready to have pups of her own, too when she is ready next time.

Daddy Again

On Fri afternoon & @ 3 am Sat morning, I became a dad again! Jade had 5 girls! 4 black & 1 fawn. 2 blacks have a white spot on their chest like me, & all 5 girls have long tails that curl @ the tip already. Mom went to see the 1st 4 Fri night. When she came home she had their scent ALL over her. Was the dangdest thing. M.J. & I couldn't figure out what the smell was. We were climbing all over mom to figure it out. She kept telling us it was my babies.
feb 8 Jade's daughter Olive is due for my pups & M.J.'s mom Sassy is due March 21 for my kids.

Happy New Year

I am gonna be a dad again to 2 more litters. 1st litter due Jan 29, 06, 2nd litter due mid Feb 06. Both bitches & I share 5 different common ancestors. Mom says we are line breeding. I say it's just fun!
M.J. is always challenging me lately as he wants to be bossman. Not gonna happen yet. Mom doesn't let us fight very badly, tho. She keeps us apart as soon as she thinks we are gonna fight.
I LOVE my mom & try to protect her from M.J. if I think he is getting too rough with her. We both love to cuddle with her in bed, tho @ night. We all keep each other warm.

I'm a New Dad

I have a rambunctious 11 week old son living with me now. We chase each other all over the house. He is really kinda fun to have around. Even Golly has adjusted to having him around. We all have a great time playing tug-of-war together & chasing each other. I even taught M.J. the "Pugtona" Run. My human mom says I have new kids just born on Mon 1-3-05. 1st born is black boy with white on his chest like me; 2nd is black boy;3rd is stillborn fawn boy;4th is black girl. I will probably not see these kids, but I have my paws full with 1 full-time pup now.

My Children

I met my kids on Fri 11-19-04. When mom & I walked into Sassy's house , she met us @ the door. We sniffed each other & Sassy took me into the living room & introduced me to our kids. They were all standing in the doorway of the box whining @ me. Mom says I was very tolerant of them. I let them chew on my legs & chase me around. My son, M.J. will be coming home to live with me & my family in another week or so. Sassy has almost completely weaned them & is ready for a break now. Now I guess it is my turn to take over. Heaven Help Us All!!!!!

Merlin became a new daddy on Sunday Oct 17, 2004. There were 7 pups, however 2 black females died. The 1st born black female died a couple of hrs after birth. The last born black female was stillborn. Her placenta ruptured while still in the birth canal. She suffocated::Crying::
But we have 1 black male marked like dadddy Merlin, 1 silver female, 2 black females with white on there chests, & 1 fawn female. The momma, Sassy, is a very good momma. Daddy Merlin will get to meet his son @ least in a few weeks. He is coming home with us.

Life with Merlin

Merlin loves to sleep under the covers on my feet or if it gets too warm, he will cuddle up in my chest & snore in my ear. Sometimes I don't know who is the loudest snorer..Daddy or Merlin. Merlin likes to run the neighborhood. Most of the time, as soon as daddy opens the gate to come into the yard, Merlin takes off on a dead run. He always comes home a little wile later as he was usually gone to visit gramma 2 doors down. Daddy( & sometimes with me) take him & cocker mix brother for a walk around the horseshoe. That is a rd here that is in the shape of a horseshoe. The boys have a couple of friends they like to play with on the walk so we have to stop & let them visit. Sometimes dad takes them down to the lake(we have deeded lake rights)to run. The new neighbor that owns the property doesn't like anyone walking down to the lake & doesn't beleive us about the lake rights. Oh well! We keep the boys off their dock & they keep their mouths shut.
Other neighbor that lives next to gramma has 2 doggies Merlin & Golly love along with a kitty. Boy how that kitty & Merlin love to play! Gramma has a special bowl for the boys & they know it.She always has good treats waiting for them.
Time to come home & rest. The boys will play & fight & play some more til we get ready for bed. Tommorrow we start over again.
