BOOM!

We woke up to more rain today! About two weeks ago we got over 8 inches in about 4 1/2 hours. And since then it has rained almost every day. The lake here is going over the dam and now we got more boomers and heavy rain today. I don't mind it -- I would love to go out and play in the rain but my owners won't let me -- something about the lightning being dangerous? I don't know anything about that -- I just like playing in water! Tess, our pack leader, doesn't like the boomers, though. She runs and hides under the desk. It's over for now....

GAS!

I had the best treat today -- my owner and his mom took me to the gas station today! I got the whole back seat to myself, though I really wanted to be up front. And, I had to grin a bit, because my sister, Tess, was left at home. Hehe. Anyway, it was a short trip, but when we got there they left the car door open and I was able to look at all the strange people and smell the gas. Whew! Well, at least it was not my gas, because that is bad smelling stuff. I just about killed my human friends the other night. Oh my! Don't know what it is that I ate. We got home and then went for our neighborhood walk, even though it was kind of cold, but I did not mind.
