My pal Miss P. wrote in her diary about a car accident that left a bunch of dogs running free after the accident and 2 are still missing :( My mom's friend lost a good friend (and her dog) in a car accident :(
So....mom ordered me this
It hasn't arrived yet but as soon as it comes, I'll be much safer!
Maybe this is a good holiday gift for all of us to get our babies :)

She's going to consider getting one of these seatbelt restraint thingies, even though she knows that we're gonna freak out. Which one are you getting, Sunny? Good idea Sunny! Mom is on it... Dad has to lock the power windows in the rear where I sit,otherwise I stand on the control and hang half my body out of the car! When I am in the car I always ride in my car seat. I was not attached to the seat belt because Momma though I was a very good girl until the day she opened the car door and I jumped out and hit the curb. I had a nasty lump but that went away in a couple of weeks. Now I have to wear a harness even when I am in the car seat to make sure I am secure at all times. Puff also has a harness and momma lets him ride in the front seat with the seat belt through the harness so he too is safe. Mommy went out and got one for me the first week I was at their house. I had been sleeping on the front passenger seat while Mommy was driving, and a lady cut right out in front of Mommy. Mommy had to swerve to miss Cut-Out Lady, and I ended up on the floor with my blankie.
Mommy was more upset with herself that she hadn't even THOUGHT of restraining me than she was with Cut-Out Lady!
Since then I have gotten THREE different ones. (I tend to GROW a lot!)
Mine has this nice soft padding on my chest and straps all around me.There's a strap and a hook on top that hooks to the buckled seatbelt of the car. I always ride in the backseat now because, well, I don't fit so good in the front!!!!
