when he can't fit underneath anything! he thinks he's still a tiny puppy!

balls and frisbees!

he'll eat anything!!!
Favorite Walk:
he doesn't walk, he runs everywhere! But he does like to "walk" with Mom to go pick up the boys . He does have to make sure that the area is secure, you know! That's why he's always ahead!!!
Best Tricks:
sitting on your feet so you can't move...well, now you have to pet him!!
Arrival Story:
We weren't really looking for another dog, as we already had three to begin with! But when my two sons (and husband!) saw this 'little' scrap of black fur running around their ankles, their hearts were lost to him. My sons, who were 8, at the time, were able to carry him in their arms with no problems. That first night, as we were deciding what to name him, we had a box with a nice blanket downstairs. Big mistake when everyone went to bed! I was woken up by howling which sounded like a thunderstorm in my house! Hence his name!
Bio:
He is very protective of his 'boys'! He loves to be outside when they are outside, and 'play' with them, even if he wants to 'hog' all the balls! He sees them off onto the school bus, and waits anxiously for them to arrive after school. He knows when they are on their way; he will sit by the patio door and watch for them. Once he sees them, he runs and greets them! When I go for a walk, he must absolutely come with me. If I don't, I hear about it. He will howl like someone is trying to hurt him.

Thunder is the 'pup' of the family. He is guaranteed for a laugh everyday. Whether it's when he passes wind, and wonders why the heck did that sound come from his butt, and why does it smell. Or if it's someone is taking a picture of someone else (not him!) , he'll try his darnest to get into the picture. He's the only dog I've seen, or known about, who actually sleeps on his back with his paws (all4) up in the air. He could sleep like for hours. he also like to give hugs to anyone who is sad. His eyes speak volumes. if you're crying, it looks like he's crying to. He will try to make you feel better, and does! Thunder doesn't like people laughing at him. Seriously! If something used to happen to him, something funny, I would laugh. Thunder would stop, turn to look at me, and bark at me, to give me heck, and then walk away, with his head held high, as if to say, I showed her! he doesn't do it too often anymore, but I still laugh at him, only more discreetly! :)
