Oooooo!! Yeeeaaaaahhhh! All this space! Whew! How long is this going to last? I really thought wrong of what my vacation was going to be!

"Comon' Copper!" my mommie called to me one steaming hot day in the middle of the June, as she was getting out of the maroon rental car, " Let's go to the pet resort!" My grandpa took out my crate, while my mom carried a large clear container with my dry and canned food. Little did I know that I was going to have the time of my life here!
Once my humans were sure to have all my luggage, they shut the car door, and walked twords a familiar building, They opened the door.
Before you could even say; Oh No! A Kennel! someone came up to me and took off my collar, replacing it with an odd leash that pulled on my neck when the humans pulled on my leash. My humans petted me kissed me and loved on me, while I could hear grandpa talking to the old lady beind the counter in the background.
After the talking had stopped, the young lady holding my leash took me outside, and then into a small building; my humans following. They slid open anothor door in the building, put me in, and then took off the leash. The humans were running behind; still outside. So, I ran to my newly discorved outdoor fence in area, started wagging my tail. My humans watched me with delight, as they made thier way into the building. The younger lady opened the door to my room to let my humans in. They sat with me on the couch, and looked up at the T.V. Was this all for me?
A few minutes later, my humans left me. I tried to get out but they caught me! I didn't want my humans to leave me, but it would be okay... This was luxury! And at this very moment I am sitting here on my couch waiting for my humans.

So of course this leads to anothor reason why dogs aren't meant to go on trips.

Chapter Three
Dogs And Restraunts Just Don't Mix

"Copper’s is enjoying this." My mommie commented one steaming hot day in the middle of June at a Sonic, "Just look at that little doggie smile!" She gave me some more chicken. I was in doggie heaven......Or so I thought.........
While all of this was going on, there was something that I hadn't noticed until now. There was an ancient truck with no doors parked just a few feet away from us. A person with tons of cuts, and scrapes circled aroud the building. I didn't like the looks of this, or the smells of him at all.
All of a sudden, a man with tons of cuts, scrapes, and bruises came walking up behind my grandma. I deeply growled at him, and nipped in the air. The man looked down at one of his scrapes, as I could hear my grandma mumbling in the background, "I'm sorry that he did something like that. So Sorry."
Once the man was gone I could hear my mommie whining, "Now Copper's going to have to go get tested for rabies!" "No he won't, he's had his shots." grandma replied "He'll still have to be tested, mom." Mommie replied There was a silence for a moment.
In a few minutes a man came walking up to grandma, and asked "Can you please put your dog in the car for safety reasons? If a little kid came up he could hurt them." I hadn't bitten anyone. That scoundrel had tried to make it look like I had bitten him, and the man had fallen for it. My family quickly ate our food, threw it out, and sprinted towards the car.
When we all got in the car my mommie shut the crate, and stuck something over it like I was a viscous dog, that needed to be trapped, but what had I done?

Did they say vacation? That doesn't sound good. Let me tell you of the story of why I dread vacation.

Chapter Two
Vacation

"Hmmmm....." I thought to myself one steaming hot day in the middle of July as I rode in the car, "I smell other dogs I think this is a great sign. Don't you agree?" Little did I know how bad things were really going to be here......
Before I could let out a bark the car halted to a screeching stop, as my mommie opened the door to let me out. I did my bussiness, and then watched my mom open the door to the tiny cabin-like building that I had just noticed.
As soon as we got into the building a woman greeted us, and asked, "Is this Copper?" "Yes it is." Grandma replied to the lady. "Shot records please?" she rasked with an imapiantent tone. "I-I-I Uh-Uh did-d-n-n't know you had to bring shot records." , Grandma stuttered while mommie had a bewildered look on her face. "Well..." the lady spoke, "We could keep him outside away from the other dogs until we can get the shot records, or you can take Copper over to the other kennel here. They have an indoor quarantine." My family opened the door and loaded me back up into my crate, as they drove off to the other kennel in the resort.
After a few minutes the car stopped agian, and we got out of the car. My mommie got me on the leash let me got potty, then took me inside a building simalar to the one I had just been to, but more modern. It was larger too. I didn't like the smell of things in there att all.
A few minutes after we got into the building, a grumpy old man greeted us with a smirk on his face. "This the dog who needs to go to the quarantine?" he asked. "Yes." Grandma replied. The man opened the door, mumbled something and pointed at a cage. My mother reluctantly took off my leash, and carried me into the room.
The next day I woke up thinking that I was at home, but of course I wasn't at home, I was locked up in a cage. "How could me humans di this to me?" I thought.
Right after I finished the thought, my pack came running in the door with a bag of dog food. They filled my bowl up, and quickly ran out of the door.
Later that day they came and took me out side for alittle while.
I wondered when I was going to get out, or if I ever was.....

Okay, I've calmed down a bit. "Copper?" , my mom asks me, "Do you think we should start at the beggining?" So maybe you don't have any clue if you are dreaming or not, but lets just say you're dreaming. Okay, so maybe you aren't, but how she spoke to me was something that should be kept between us.

Chapter One

"Here doggie, come here." the lady who I had seen since the day I was born coaxed to me one steaming hot day in the middle of June, "Time to go play." I was a bit reluctant until my mother nudged me with her nose.
Once I was out of the cage, the lady carried me for what seemed like hours, only to get to anothor building like the one I stayed in. I saw many things that overwhemled me, as this was my first time out. There was a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach that something would happen today that would change my life forever. While all this was going on there was one thing I didn't notice; we were getting close to a building that looked like one of those house things that the other dogs had told me about.
Finnaly, the lady put me down on the hard linolnoullim floor with some other puppies. I played and yipped around for awhile, until I looked up.....
I just couldn't keep my eyes off of what was above me; humans!
The bigger one had dark hair, and brown eyes with something shiny reflecdting off hios face. (Who says dogs are color blind?) The somewhat smaller one had long blond hair and mid blue eyes. The one that interested me the most was the small girl hiding behind her the one with the long blond hair. She had hazel eyes, and crimson hair. I had no clue as to why she was hiding behind who may have been her mother, so I went up to investigate.
I had done that for about fifthteen minutes when I decided that it wasn't going to work. I ran up and pounced on the couch. The little girl let out a yip, while her mother gently pushed me off.
One by One puppies dissipeared from my sight. The Chihuahuas were gone, and so where all those mean bichons that were tackling me. The only dogs left were the mutt, and me the Cavachon. The girl's mother stared at the two of us for a long time, and finnaly pointed at the mutt, as I heard the humans mumble something in the background. I knew that I wasn't going to get picked........Or was I?
