Bio: We are a foster family that has helped half a dozen animals with a temporary home in the last year. And we can say with no hesitation that Molly has the most positive spirit we have ever encountered. Her enthusiasm and constant smile has been an uplifting presence in our home.
Molly is house broken and knows many basic commands (sit, stay and down). She is very quiet and rarely barks. She absolutely loves to play with our other dog and has never displayed any aggression or any other negative personality traits. Based on her instant acceptance of the dog crate we set up for her, we believe that she must have been crate-trained at some point in her life. As with other crate-trained dogs we've met, she frequently sleeps in her crate even while the crate door is open.
She has a strong tendency to chase cats, birds and squirrels and would probably be best in a home that doesn't have such animals as pets. However, she would be superb in a house that has other dogs since she relates with other dogs so well.
Molly is very eager to please and as such, she has proven to be easy to train. In the last week alone, we've taught her how to heel on a leash as well as several other commands.
It is impossible to even conceive of a dog with a better personality and demonstrated eagerness to be the perfect companion!
