A Day in the Life of Cosmo

I can swim! I can swim!

My Mom and Dad have been taking my brother and I to the lake for the past few months and Neo swims and swims. I have just been standing on the shore eating grass. Well, it was so hot last weekend that I just jumped right off the dock and into the lake! Swimming really isn't that bad of a thing after all. I swam all weekend! I hope that I get to go swimming again this weekend because my brother might be faster at running but I am a much faster swimmer!

It's Summer

My Mom really hasn't been too good at updating what I have been up to lately. Let me think what I have done lately....eat....sleep....go for a walk....sleep....play with my brother Neo....sleep.....try to steal some underwear or socks.....sleep. Yup, that's pretty much a day in my life!

I have been feeling really good lately! I am actually not sleeping as much as I used to. Mom says that I have a little spring in my step again. This week when I was trying to get into something that I wasn't supposed to my Mom said that I must be feeling much better. I went to see this really nice vet lady who helped my mom and dad figure out what food works best for me. Guess what I get to eat? Venison! Yummy! My brother is so jealous that I get some good venison and he is stuck with that hard crunchy stuff!

My Mom and Dad have tried to get me to go swimming. I much prefer laying on the beach and rolling in the sand. I let my brother do all of the work to get the ball and then I fight him for it when he gets back from swimming. I normally win and proudly bring it back to Mom and Dad! My Mom did buy me an awesome kiddie pool though so I go in the pool at least every day. We're going to the lake tomorrow and Mom and Dad are hoping that I will decide to go swimming but I probably won't. My Mom also made me some frosty paws this week. Ooh, those were yummy!

Sick as a Dog!

Well I am sure glad to be home again even though I have been really tired and don't really have the energy to play with my brother Neo too much.
On Monday, my Mom and Dad said that I wasn't acting myself so my Mom decided to stay home from work to keep an eye on me. Right after lunch time my Mom was rushing me to the emergency vet because I was so sick. They thought that I had an obstruction because I ate my human sister's silly putty. It wasn't that and they couldn't figure out exactly what was going on or why I got sick. Hopefully I don't feel like that again for a really long time because that sure wasn't fun.
