Arrival Story:
Our daughter, who lives in Montana, had adopted an Alaskan Husky from a rescue shelter and we fell in love with him. I asked her to let us know if she ever found another one. Well this last March she called with the news that there was one available and told us where to look on line to see her. She looked awesome so we adopted her and had here flown to us in Florida. When we met her at the freight hanger and let her out of her cage, after a 13hr. flight, it was like we knew each other for ever! What a fantastic dog she is indeed!

Bio:
Her first owners got rid of her because she wouldn't pull a sled anymore. This worked out great for us because they are known to be very hard to control on a leash.

Lose of a great friend

Today we lost our great friend Buckley to liver cancer. He was a loyal friend, guardian and companion to our daughter. Six years ago if someone said I would cry like a baby over a "dog" I would have said they were crazy.
His presence will be missed but he will forever live in our hearts!

Me and Dad were walkin last night and I met two new friends. Turns out they are also rescued dogs. Their human is a nice guy who always talks to me and pets me alot.

Dad was talkin about he and mom see two peahens in the neighborhood when they ride their bikes. Moms real excited about the fact that they are around...me, I could care less. from the pictures I see of them they just look like big ol chickeins.

Gotta go it's time for our evening walk and I got to pester dad cuz he's worn out from work but we have an agreement....
Later y'all...

Dog Fighting

Boy, Dad is really worked up today.

He's talking about some one name Michael Vick and how he was very bad to dogs. Dad says that he should use his money and time to help undo all the terrible things he was responsible for.

I don't understand how people could enjoy making dogs mean and watching them fight each other to the death!

I sure am lucky to have been rescued by Mom and Dad with Jen's help.

Dad went to this site and is helping any way he can to help prevent this terrible activity. He says people who want to help can go here and find out what they can do.

Something about cut and paste...

Gotta go Dad's gettin his shoes on and that means we're off for a walk...
