Leave a bone for Odin - Adopted!

Snuggle Muffin, Snotbox

Quick Bio:
-dog rescue

Snuggling, FOOD, chewing on anything his little puppy mouth can grab and take off with...

Having paper towels and other cracklies taken away from him and being told "NO!", being forced to go potty outside in the rain...

Favorite Toy:
He really likes the Planet Dog Orbee balls and bones (which are also MY favorite toy of all time as they haven't been destroyed yet!) He loved his squeaky toy before its untimely demise from the needle sharp baby teeth.

Favorite Food:
What puppy doesn't love EVERYTHING? So far he hasn't really had a lot of things to try. He does get greenies, bully sticks, marrow bones and turkey necks as well as his kibble.

Favorite Walk:
We don't really do "walks" - he had a couple of acres to play on.

Best Tricks:
Being potty trained is a nice change for a new foster pup! He is learning tricks but I haven't even had him a week yet, so we'll have to wait and see.

Arrival Story:
I picked Odin up from his transporter on October 6th. His previous owners let him escape multiple times from an improperly fenced home -- after the fourth time he was found it was decided that his owners were not fit to keep him and he was sent to Recycle-A-Bull (formerly Three Bulldogs) Rescue to be rehomed.

Odin is one of the best fosters I've had so far! He is already house trained at 14 weeks old. He is a smart little cookie and highly food motivated, so teaching is a breeze. He does have a little attitude -- you shake your finger at him and he'll bark right back at you. As you can see in the first picture, he has one blue eye and one brown eye that matches his brown spots! He loves other dogs (he gets to play with two adult pit bulls, adult boxer, adult pomerian, adult standard poodles and a baby miniature poodle) and did really well with meeting pigs, goats and turkeys. He even bathes well! He is, of course, a baby and will outgrow his paper fetish and wanting to chew on everything. He still has his baby teeth. Odin has been adopted, thank you! Don't believe all of the "pit bull" hype - do your own research on the breed. Human aggressiveness is *very rare* in our breed and should not, for obvious reasons, be encouraged. Please help stop the stereotyping and encourage education! Breedism is the pits. Some places to start for education are BadRap.org, PBRC.net, outofthepits.org, workingpitbull.com, pitbullpress.com and forpitssake.org. Thank you!!!

Some nice humans came and played with me earlier this week and now mom is telling me that I've been adopted! I get to go to my new home tomorrow after agility; my new owner is going to come partcipate in my agility class and they're going to continue to take me!!

Something seems different...

Mom took me to the Humane Society on Wednesday morning. When we arrived, I took off playing with one of the nice humans who was there and next thing I know, mom is gone and I'm there for the day AND the next night!!

I woke up and something was a little different...

Mom came to get me Thursday morning but I had hurt feelings and didn't want to see her.

I have since recovered my happy puppy ways and have decided it's ok to snuggle with her again since she DID come back for me.

But these stitches aren't a lot of fun. And did I mention that something is different??
