Arrival Story: Dad bought me at a breeder, I was such a cute baby! I had the nack of throwing myself at the peoples feet at a perfect belly rub postition, but they kept tripping over me, so I stopped (I'm a pretty smart guy;). I'm laid back and eeeaaasssyyy going. I used to love having my picture taken, not anymore, I used to like to sleep on the bed, go up and down stairs, but not anymore (good luck getting an awake pic of me!); I'm old so I don't have to put up with that stuff now:).
Bio: A couple of years ago mom took me to the vet and had me tested for heartworms. I came up postive. I'm too old for effective treatment, so mom and dad just decided to take me home and let me live out my short life. YEARS later, I'm still here! Mom got dad a 'replacement' basset (she's a ding-dong), but I'm still here! Mom said I could have whatever I wanted to eat (deadman diet), sometimes I'm limited because I'm gassy. So now I just enjoy the fat happy life of 'the old man' {rumor has it I had the vet switch the results-I'll never tell;}

Here's my 7 things
1. I'm old and wise! Dad says so! I don't get upset about much, and I get special treatment because of it:) See? Wise!
2. I love that I'm housebroke! I get to come in at night and sleep in my own bed, in mom and dad's room, at night!!! (unlike Reba and Chico that have to sleep in the wash room:)
3. I HATE the camera!!! That 'click' drives me NUTS!!!
4. I love dad. I love him the mostest! We are bestest friends!! (he just might like me better than mom;)
5. I don't like cold weather, I do like the cool stuff though, just not cold. BBBBRRRR!
6. I used to get car sick, mom and dad are hoping to travel some later this year, and take me too, hope I can keep it together!!!
7. Reba knows I'm the 'boss', I let her think she's in control, but, if she pushes it too far, I give her the tooth and she backs down-I am the oldest after all!!

Dad and teenboy are working on the fence!!! I'm tied out until its completed. I don't like it, but its safe and I can wait-unlike IdiotReba, whine whine cry cry cry whine whine whine, on and on! What a baby! I told her just wait, and very soon we will be running loose in the back yard like the wild canine we are, but no, its whine whine whine on and on and on-what a baby!
Yea dad! I knew you would fence in the big back yard for me! I knew you'd put ham juice on the doog foo just for me!! I know your the best! And like you said, I'm old and wise, that makes me the best too!!!!

We've been so busy, I haven't updated in a whole month! Can you believe its almost Christmas???
I loved Thanksgiving leftovers, and the fact dad insists I come in at night. The cooler weather has me feeling all young again, 'frisky' mom says.
Teenson is gonna work on the fence today (that should aready be up-but mom says we are not gonna gripe about that). Apparently teenboy has a speeding ticket he needs taken care of in exchange for the fence building. Mom says this is one of those 'life lessons' Dr Phil talks about.
I like Dr Phil, have you seen his new puppy? AND he says places like Dogster would be fun to visit! Yep, love the good Doc.
I hope yall had a groovy Thanksgiving, and (if I don't get back before then) an even GROOVY-IER Christmas and New Year!!!!!
