Arrival Story:
It was the fourth of July weekend 2005, when this fiesty little Jack Russell was out crossing busy streets in the middle of the day - ALONE! The man I was dating at the time grabbed him from harms way, and brought him in for a little water and to check him over. Seemed like a fine, healthy dog, but no name tags on his little collar...We spent the rest of the after noon looking around for anyone who might know who he is or whom he belonged to...I spent the next sevearal days looking in the paper for lost dog ads, on the internet, etc. I called on any Lost Jack Russell ad I found that could have been for our little found. Amazingly, I did not find his owners, and by the end of a two week search, sleeping with him night after night, cuddling with him, I just knew we were meant to stay together. I continued to look around for ads that might have been for him....but....Somehow, he came to me in my life and I have been so incredibly happy and thankful for him everyday. We are in love, and we have lots of adventures together.
The vet thought Michael would have been about a year or a little more when we found him. I celebrate his birthday on the July 4th holiday, though I really have no idea when he was born, or his real age.
