Marigot's Story

Remembering My Birthday

This day is always hard for my Mommy and Daddy. You see, it was 17 years ago today that they adopted me and brought me home!!! I will never forget when I first saw them, and when I knew I found my forever home. We always would celebrate on my special day, September 12th, with yummy cake (no chocolate, of course!) with candles, singing and presents! I was blessed to celebrate my 13th birthday on 9/12/04 at our shore house on Long Beach Island. I always loved it when my birthday fell on or around the weekend, so we would be at the shore! Mommy and Daddy still remember my birthday, of course, and they will talk about all that happened on my first day with them in 1991. And I know they will smile. They know that now I celebrate my birthday in Heaven with my Grandpop..he's been here with me since 1995..and now this year my Grandmom is here, too. Mommy is going to add a picture to my Dogster page. It's one of me on my 13th birthday. Thanks to all my Dogster friends for reading about me and caring about me!

I've Been Tagged!!!

My Mommy really needs to share lots of stuff in my diary with all my Pup Pals out there, but right now I just have to say THANKS (Grazie!) to my very special Pup Pal, Teo, Angel of Love, id 333771! I am so honored to be tagged and play!
RULES OF THE GAME: Each player starts with 7 random facts about themselves. Here are my 7 Pawsome Facts:
1. I have one blue eye and one brown eye, and so does my "sister" on earth, Merlot!
2. I saved a baby robin!! I was able to tell Mommy the poor baby had fallen from his nest, and because of me, Mommy found him and returned him to his nest!
3. My name "Marigot" came from the capital city of French St. Martin, the city of Marigot. Mommy and Daddy love to go there!
4. I always loved to eat people cereal for breakfast, and for a night-time snack, and my favorite would be Cheerios!
5. One night when my Mommy was very sad and worried about her dad, my Grandpop, I knew she needed me, and I stayed awake all night and cuddled with her.
6. Walkies..one of my favorite things to do!..I had 3 different routes in my neighborhood, and Daddy always let me pick which way to go.
7. My most Pawsome Fact..I knew after I came to the Rainbow Bridge, that my Mommy and Daddy missed me terribly. Mommy was afraid to adopt someone too soon, but I just knew she needed a fuzzy one to love, and I brought Mommy and Daddy together with Merlot. Just how everything happened, they know that Merlot is Heaven Sent from ME! I will always be my Mommy's Heart, forever.
