Mommy has done it now!

Mommy sure has done it now. I don't even know what to say. After all of these months of her getting fatter and fatter I should have known. It's not like this hasn't happened before. She brought home my new human brother on Friday. He of course is squishy and tiny, just like the last human sibling she brought home. But this one is a boy instead of a girl. We'll have to see how that works out. As long as he knows that I am the alpha male we should not have any problems. At least now I can take naps with mommy and she praises me often and gives me lots of treats. I suppose these human siblings aren't a bad thing.

But poor Bailey. He is afraid of the new baby. Sometimes he will go by him and sniff but he doesn't give him kisses like I do. When mommy tries to have him come and sit with her and the baby, Bailey will run away. I sure hope he gets over this phobia soon. He is really missing out.

My Birthday

Hey, today's my birthday and it was wonderful. Mommy gave me a bimple bone this morning and a new toy. The toy is one of my favorites (a latex funny face ball). Within two hours I had found the weak spot and drained it of all of its stuffing contents. That is my favorite thing to do. Then Grandma came over so Idid not have to be in my crate today while Mommy was at work and then.....Mommy came home from work early. I even got some hot dog for dinner and the enitre family (excluding the bird, Papaday) went for a walk with me. My human sister, who is two, sang Happy Birthday to me multiple times today too. I don't think that I could have asked for a better day.

The protection of mommy

I have been very busy lately. Mommy is pregnant and of course I knew it before it was even confirmed. That always surprises mommy. I have made sure to protect her ALL THE TIME. When she goes to the bathroom I stand in front of the door. When she sits down I have to sit right next to her no matter how hot it is. When she goes outside I insist on going with her. This is a big job! I am worn out at the end of the day. Baily is so oblivious and wants to constantly play though. I have to wrestle with him numerous times a day or he bothers mommy to play. I hope mommy appreciates all I do for her. BOL

My Human Sister's 2nd Birthday

Well, I think I have recovered enough to paw this. Yesterday was my human sisters 2nd birthday party. It was crazy. Mommy had planned to have it outside where all the kids could run around but it started to rain and the temperature dropped into the 50's. Needless to say they had to come inside. Eight children between the ages of one and four running around our basement and eating chips and hot dogs. This was the best part of the day. Bailey and I stole as many hotdogs, chips, hamburgers, etc. as we possibly could and then hid. I was so full and tired at the end of the day that I had to take a short nap before bed. BOL. We just ran and ran and the kids just kept petting and hugging us. It was awesome. Oh, and mommy did not see us steal anything because she was distracted by everything else going on. Score. BOL.

My Birthday

Well, yesterday was my birthday. It was great! Mommy was home all afternoon so that I could run around and play. She gave me some table scraps (I don't get many of those any more because mommy doesn't want Bailey to have any yet) and we went to the Tastee Freeze! I love to hve a puppy cup with a cookie. That was the best birthday treat mommy has ever given me. We even went for a walk which we have not done a lot of lately. I was so tired last night I conked out early.

My New Brother!!!!

Well it finally happened. We went to that place, St. Louis, that mommy had been talking about this week but we didn't see the French people. We picked up my new brother. He is sooooo tiny (4 pounds). I was unsure how to play with him but today he started chasing me around. I am a lot faster than him so I have to slow down a lot but I suppose that is okay. Mommy says I have to teach him everything I know. This could take a long time. I wonder if she means the good and bad or just the good.

MOM IS BACK!!!!!

Thank God. I really missed my mommy. She was gone a whole week and daddy had to take care of me. He tried his best. At least he made sure I had food and took me for a couple of walks. I am so glad mommy had Riley come and play. I really needed to run.

When mommy came home she said something about me having an ew baby brother next week. I heard rescue, drive to St. Louis. I thought all of the French people were gone. Are we going to see them? I wonder what all of this means.

It seems like there have been an aweful lot of changes lately.

Well....the French people have left. I am exhausted. It is very tiring trying to be a good host and pretend to understand when they are talking to me. As soon as they left with daddy this afternoon I went and took a nap. Ahhhh, routine. It is the spice of life. But mommy mentioned something this morning about going away for a week starting tomorrow. She is the one that takes care of me! What will I do? Is it okay to rely on daddy? I hope he feeds me and takes me for walks like mommy. I hope he gives me cookies and cuddles like mommy. She said the neighbor girl, Riley, will be coming to let me outside during the day and to play with me. I guess that will be fun. She is the girl that babysits my little human sister. Ah, change. It is the spice of life (hee, hee).

The French

Well...Mom was not going to do any diary entries for me but I have finally convinced her. Life has been extremely strange lately. You see, Mom and Dad have friends visiting us for 10 days. Now that does not sound so bad except that they are here from France! Where the heck is France. All I know is they keep talking to me and I don't understand a word they are saying. I though Mom and Dad were hard to understand but these people take the cake. I politely cock my head back and forth when they are talking ot me...Like I am really listening... but all along I am thinking about cookies or going for a walk or cookies.....The woman keeps wanting to hold my baby human sister so I jump up into the man's lap a lot. He has a nice big lap that I can spread my self out in. When these people talk to my baby sister she just laughs and laughs. I wish I understood the joke. They must tell a lot of jokes because she laughs ALOT. Finally this morning I have been able to take a break. Dad took them to IHOP to try French toast (hee, hee). Okay maybe pancakes. I have been cuddling with mommy and taking it easy but I am pretty sure they will return......
