Arrival Story:
Harley was adopted in 2006 from the Dallas - Fort Worth Dachshund Rescue. He was surrendered by owners who claimed he had housetraining issues. It turned out the Harley had a severe, untreated urinary tract infection. Once this was treated, Harley has NEVER had an accident in the house. Harley's Mom fostered him for the Dallas - Fort Worth Dachshund Rescue back in 2006. During the months she had him she grew to love him and knew she had to make Harley a permanent member of the family. Harley joined brothers Fidget and Zephyr, and now the trio are referred to as "The Boyz" or as "My Three Sons".
