Best Boy Ever!

Dad took me to the groomer on Tuesday....and the groomer gives out report cards! My report card said I am "The Best Boy Ever" and I got a gold star! Mom was so proud of me!!!

Playoff Football in Houston!

So, the Houston Texans played their very first every NFL playoff game yesterday. Mama wouldn't watch most of the game, she was WAY too nervous, but when they got ahead 24-10 with a few minutes left in the 4th quarter, daddy convinced her to watch. When Adrian Foster ran 42 yards for a touchdownm, she was jumping up and down and screaming "GOOOOOO GOOOOOO GOOOOO GOOOO" and she scared me! I went and hid until she calmed down and called me back to let me know she wasn't yelling at ME. Not sure I like this football thing.

Diary of the Day!!

Wowzerz....what a suprise this morning....mommy gotz an e-mail saying I'm a diary of the day pick!! Thank you everypup for all the rosettes and condogulation notes. We don't think my diary is very enthralling....but we have loved hearing from old and new friends today!!

Road Trip!

The momma and me are road tripping today. I enjoy riding in the car and love ALL hoomans, so I get to be momma's travel companion on her trip to Waco to visit the hooman gramma. We will be back tomorrow morning, so we won't be gone long, and the girls and daddy are staying home. Mom says I'm a great travel companion, that's why I get to go with her.

Wildfires

Please continue to pray for all the firefighters in Texas fighting the fires and all the families that are affected by the fires.......... PLEASE NO OUTSIDE FIRES AT ALL. These firefighters are tired and need a break. Pray for rain.

Followup on my Surgery

I visited the vet today and got my stitches out. Seems like very good news, as the vet believes they got everything and they are not recommending additional treatment to be needed for me. Mom and dad will be examining me on a regular basis to check for any additional growths and will have them examined if they find anything per vet instructions. Mom and dad sure are hoping that I now will have a long and healthy life left with them!

Melanoma

That's what the biopsy report showed my growth to be. The vet thinks they got it all when they removed the growth, but I will be more closely examined when they take my stitches out next Monday. Hopefully it was caught real quickly and it did not spread. Mom and dad have stepped up their prayers!

Latest News on Me!

AS most of my furriends already know, I had surgery on Monday to remove a black mole-thing from my back. We still don't have the pathology report back, so mom and dad are still on pins and needles. I was healing nicely, but either last night or early this morning it ITCHED so I gave it some good scratches, and I tore the scab off and made a hole in the incision area. So....it was off to the vet this morning and I got two stitches, some antibiotics to take, and they WRAPPED me so I can't get to the area again. How CAN I take of the itchies if I can't scratch????? Dear me!

Surgery for Me!

Dad took me to my new vet yesterday to have the nasty looking black mole-thing on my back examined. The vet didn't like the look of it, and he scheduled me for surgery to have it removed and biopsied on Monday. Mom and dad are worried about this, but they are hoping that the surgery will take care of whatever it is, whether it's malignant or not. As for me, I'm happy and energetic and not worried!

Please Send Me Some Good Thoughts

Mommy was petting me earlier today, and for some reason she looked under my harness, and she found some kind of a blackish mole or skin tag under it. She doesn't know how long it's been there, but it looks kind of scary and nasty. I will be going to the vet asap to have this looked at. My mom and dad sure do love me, and they are worriers.
