My mommy is making me a **NEW** music video. She is taking A LOT of time on this video. She just started, so it is going to take her a long time on it.

I am not going to college.
My owner talked to her teacher and she said that there are about 4 dogs that are coming to be groomed this Friday. That would have been CRAZY with that many dogs.
They talked it out and decided that I am going to be groomed at home. It is easier because I am a little special than the other dogs. Because I am the only dog there that is a retired show dog. I have a show coat. So I am groomed a little bit different.
But, I am okay with that. Because I finally get to help my owner with her homework!!!

Hey everyone.
Here is an update on my upcoming college visit. It has been decided. I am going to college this Friday. December 19th, 2008. I can't wait.

Today is my birthday AND I get to go to Rally class. What a day.
It is also snowing today. I can't wait until we get about 2 feet of snow. YES. We do get that much sometimes. Right now we have about an inch or two.
Jackson and I were just outside with our owners. We live in a cul-de-sac so we get to run around in it. So we were playing ball. Jackson and I had a great time. Chasing a ball, running in the snow snow is falling. What can you ask for?

Thank you to everyone who wished me a "Happy Birthday". I had a great day. I got a present. I am so excited. I am trying to keep it away from Jackson. He has his toys and I have mine. Well...I go a KONG. We have another one, but since there are two of us, my owner got me my own.

I had a great time at Rally class last night. I got to meet new people and new dogs. My mommy said that I did a great job too! The instructor put out a small course out for us to try. And guess what? I did the course correct! During the class, my mommy got to take off my leash. Which is a big deal for me. Because there were other dogs around and I didn't even go near the other dogs. I just stayed by my mommy. I think that I am going to do a great job in Rally. Since it has started out so good so far.

If you already read Jackson's entry, you don't need to read this. BUT, if you didn't read his, please keep on reading.
I owner is 17 and she is a SENIOR in high school. She wants to go in to the animal field when she finishes college. So...she is taking a college class called Animal Science.
Everyday, she rides the bus to her high school and then hops on another bus to go to Century College. Then she comes back to her high school and goes to 3 more classes for the day.
Back to where I get to go college. She just finished the grooming segment. But, it is not over until she brings in her dogs (which is me and Jackson) to give a bath.
So...I am going to collgege to get a BATH!!!! And meet a lot of new people.

As you may already heard from my son, Jackson, we got our new jackets and boots today. I am not a huge fan of the boots, but I love the jacket.

Here is a little back round on me in the past year.
In May of 2007, I had a litter of puppies. My owners kept one of the puppies. And his name is Jackson. So, he is a guy.
Because my owner's daughter shows me in breed, I could not be spayed. Now that we have another dog in the house, and is a male, I had to be spayed. A couple of reasons. First, I did not like wearing te diaper. Second, my owner's daughter is going to show him in breed and he can not be fixed. So...I was spayed.
After I was spayed in December 2007, I gained a lot of weight. In May of 2008, I weighed 85 pounds. I know. I was chubby.
My owners brought me to the doctor and she put me on some diet food that we can only get there. I go on more walks than I did before. Started up agility again. And play with my son in the backyard.
5 months had passed and I lost about 9 pounds. My owners are SO proud of me. I have my energy back!!!!!

Handled by Erik & Megan Stridkland, Strider attained the rank of #2 golden for 1999.In June of '99 Strider & Erik attended the televised FCI World Series Of Shows in Mexico City, where Strider took 2 BIS placements, defeating some 9,000 in just 4 days! That same year he took one of the first JAMs at the GRCA National Specialty in Rhode Island.

Yesterday my owner can home from Italy. She was gone for too long. 9 DAYS! Jackson and I gave her a huge warm welcome. I am also glad that when my owner leaves for a trip, Jackson and I don't go to a boarding kennel. We just stay at home and my owner's uncle and his daughter come and stay at our house. What a deal!

It has been over a year now since my babies have left me. But, my owner has been checking on the puppies and they are doing great. One of the females name Mabel earned her CGC title already. i am so proud of her. Even though they have left me about a year ago, I still have Jackson. He is staying with me forever! I love that little boy. Even he is now bigger than me, I still can beat him at everything. Well...not everything. He is faster than me, so when we play fetch, he beats me. But, I am still the boss of him. When we had a birthday party for the puppies, Isaac's owner/breeder said that all of the puppies are too small to be in the breed ring. But not Jackson. He is big enough to be in the ring. That is good because he is going for his CH title right now. When the puppies were born on May Day 2007, Jackson was one of the smallest puppies. Now a year later, he is the biggest. and maybe the lightest. But, he is getting darker just like his daddy did when he was younger. But, I still miss my babies.
