omg Even more doggie torture!

The last entry was much longer, but somehow dogster didn't like that square bracket, and now I have to type the entry over again. :_| It's so hard for a doggy to type.

So... The gist of the entry was mainly focusing on how today was a painful day! First the toenails, then Mommy accidentally kicked me in the head. Later, she accidentally poked me with a pencil while she was doing her homework. And, just recently, she flushed my eye out with Sterile Eye Irrigating Solution. She wanted to see if this something in my left eye was just something and nothing like a scratch. Anyway, she tried to flush the whatever out, but it's flat against my eyeball like an onion peel is on an onion and it just kind of floated around my eye so she gave up because I'm not really bothered by it, and stuff like this usually makes it way outta my eye by itself. Otherwise, if I'm bothering my eye, she'll flush whatever hair, lint or carpet fiber is out of my eye and make it feel much better.

I hope she doesn't give me a bath tonight. I think I've dealt with as much as I can handle today. Not that I don't like baths or anything, but they're not my favorite.

Oooh, California!

Mommy's been sending out job applications, and the last one you sent out was for a Fisheries job in California! Oooohhhh! California is warm, or so I'm told. Reminds me of my homeland - Mexico! Actually, I wanted to let you in on a little secret, I only speak Spanish. Sometimes when it doesn't seem like I understand my Mommy, she understands because I don't speak English, I speak Spanish. =) All my diary entries have been translated.

So well behaved.

Auntie took me for a walk today, and I made poops two times. Along our walk, we saw a smallish-medium sized fluffy dog, and I didn't even bark at it. Also, there was this squirrel with a nut in its hands, and at first I just stood and looked at it. Then, I wanted to get closer, but the squirrel moved away just a little bit. Auntie thought it was amazing that I didn't immediately chase after it. She thought I was so well behaved that she gave me treats after our walk. :) I was happy. I think the sun has magical effects on my mood.

The sun is so great that when Mommy came home and let me run around the house, I tried to drag the kitty bed into the sunlight that comes through the front door. Somehow the bed turned upside-down, but it was okay since it was in the sun. I was satisfied how it was positioned and sat on top of the upside-down cat bed in the sun. I love to feel the warmth on my little body.

P.S. Mommy and I are happy that auntie isn't going to go to law school.

Mommy's at school and the sun is out!

Weehee! Yay! Hooray! The sun is out, but right now, Mommy's at school. I'm sure later we'll go outside and have fun. I'm getting good vibes from Mom though. She had an exam this morning, and I think that it went extremely well and that it was easy. :) Ahhhh... I hope the sun doesn't go on vacation again soon. It's nice to have it around. :)

Yay! Ball w/ bell!

Mommy broke out this special ball with a bell inside it. The ball is much smaller than my tennis balls, and jingles as it rolls. Happy day!

This ball is so special because I used to have one that was red, but when Mommy and I moved into Granddad and Grandmom's house, I ended up losing it since their house is so big. Anyway, eventually Mommy bought another one, and even though she never told me, I overheard her talking to auntie about where the ball with bell comes from. It comes from inside a bigger ball that Mommy buys just for the little ball since the bigger ball is very big (almost half my size). So, Mommy cuts the bigger ball to get to the small ball with bell and throws out what's left of the bigger ball and gives me the small ball so I can play with it. :)

Sleeping, facials and vacation

No, I'm not talking about our next trip, I'm talking about this morning. Mommy and I woke up and I was sleeping with my head on her pillow just like a human. Sometimes I even sound like some humans with my occasional snore. Mommy thinks I'm so cute when I sleep just like her. :) After I realized that she was staring at me so intently, I really woke up and decided to give her the old doggie tongue facial. I thought she could use some exfoliating action so I kept licking and licking and licking away. I'm sure Mommy really appreciated it.

Finally we got up and went outside for me to go potty and to take a walk. I noticed that the sun hasn't been around lately, and I wondered if it was on "vacation." I bet that's what it is. But whatever the case, Mommy and I hate how there is no sun anymore. Where I am supposed to find sunlight to lay in to be warm??? I tell ya, sometimes the sun can be so inconsiderate!

Okay well, Mommy and I are going to have some snuggle time before she has to get ready to do some puppy research. Today is the last day she will be filming observations of this one litter of puppies for school. Later, she'll analyze the video footage. Hope everyone has a super day!

Doggy research!

Mommy was doing some doggy coding for school. She looks at their behaviors. It's sad because she looks at dogs but doesn't pay any attention to me. :_( Okay. Going to go now. Bye!

Crunch, crunch, crunch...

I'm just finishing up dinner. Mmmm, it was very yummy. I was really hungry and tried to steal Mommy's food from her plate with my long tongue. Auntie tried calling me over to her so I would sit with her and leave Mommy alone, but what sense would that have made? I think Mommy was making fun of me because she got up and ran circles in the kitchen while she and auntie laughed at me because I was following Mommy right at her heels. I don't know what the big deal was. Mommy was at work all day and I missed her and was hungry. It's okay, though, because I ended up getting my dinner after all that.
