Mommy is procrastinating. She doesn't want to add the last two paragraphs to her paper, so she decided to fix up/crop/etc. a photo of mine and post it. I hate when the camera just catches you at a bad moment. The one she just put up is of me yawning! Doesn't my jaw look like it's detached? I'm like one of those snakes that unhinge their jaw to eat prey that's larger than the actual opening of their regular mouth with the jaw attached. Um, okay. Mommy is going to resume working on her paper. :) Night!
Update: 11/28/04 Mommy finally took down the bad photo. Maybe that's why I wasn't getting good paw ratings. If you wanted to see it, send me a message.

Mommy and auntie came back from Ann Arbor where Mommy took her exam. They also went to Meijer where they had the friendliest cashier ever. Anyway, almost out of thin air, they made cookies. Mommy and auntie gave the approval for the Ready To Bake Pillsbury Sugar-Free chocolate chip cookies! They looked so very yummy, but Mommy wouldn't let me have any. :( I was sad, but the sadness didn't last long because Mommy fed me dinner.
Hmm, Mommy should make a list of approved sugar free foods. She drastically reduced her sugar intake last year because she wanted to help prevent further cavities. Her family's teeth are very prone to rotting. I'm glad I, so far, don't have any cavities or teeth problems. Well, actually, I did have to have my baby teeth (my incisors) pulled when I got spayed because they hadn't fallen out yet, and I had double the number of incisors. Well, I've gotten off topic, and Mommy needs the computer so I'm going to go now. :)

I keep getting more votes for less paws. 5 out of 5 is the only acceptable rating for me. Maybe it is the photo iPod thing. I guess it waaas sort of advertisy. :| Okay. I won't keep trying to put it at the top of my diary entries. Thanks to Ozzie for mentioning me in one of his diary entries. You should check out his page. He's a good writer and gets to snuggle with good looking people. I wonder if his human daddy is a super model. He looks like one of those models for men's cologne. See for yourself.
Mommy's got an exam today, but she's not too worried for some reason. She better start studying though. Lately, she's just too busy trying to write all her little papers. Okay, I'm going to sulk the rest of the day. Maybe that will magically increase my paw rating. : Or not. Hrrmph! Maybe I'm just in a bad mood because the ball w/ bell went behind the piano, and Mommy hasn't retrieved it for me because she has to move the TV in order to do so.
Update: 11/20/04 Just wanted to mention that maybe the person Ozzie was snuggling with wasn't his daddy. I didn't make changes to the actual entry though.
Update: 12/2/04 Just wanted to mention that the person that Ozzie is snuggling up to is his daddy. He even says so in his diary entry for today's date. :)

What's that? You thought it was for me? Nawww, I don't have any use for a photo iPod. I'm just a little doggy.

Mommy's being fun. She broke out the ball w/ bell and has been, *ah chew *ah chew *ah chew *ah chew, excuse me, has been playing with me. :) It's so fun! Outside, Mommy even kicked around a pinecone. I'm glad that today is a bit warmer than it has been. Mommy was scared because she saw mosquitos outside, and mosquitos carry heartworm and really make her itch if they get her! The bites really swell up a lot. We don't like mosquitos.
It was a nice short day for Mommy at school, which was good for me because now she's home playing. On her way home from school, Mommy called my ex-daddy to talk. They had a good conversation. They've been trying to be okay with just be friends for a while now, and I hope it keeps working. I mean, Mommy's ex-ex boyfriend and her are really pretty good friends now. I hope she can remain friends with her most recent ex too. He's nice. Actually, all the people that Mommy are friends with are nice. Okay, I'm going to look cute some more so Mommy will play and roughhouse with me for a bit longer.
P.S. :( I'm no longer Pawpular and only have 4 paws out of 5 instead of 5 out of 5. :( I guess I will have to try a little bit harder to have a magnificent dogster page. Mommy's quite the perfectionist, and it rubs off on me as well.

Mommy and auntie went shopping so they left me all alone. When they came back, Mommy and auntie had shopping bags. Auntie is starting her new job tomorrow and got some dress clothes. Mommy also bought a jacket type thing which was dressy but was too high quality and too good a deal to pass up. Anyway, Mommy told me that there were cute doggy clothes at Marshall Field's. I guess Marshall Field's is a store. Thank goodness Mommy didn't buy me anything. I hate most clothes, well, okay, I hate clothes that have to go over my head, and Mommy said that the cutest one was that kind. The specific brand of doggy clothing was PuppiaWorld.com, and is actually cheaper, even with the shipping cost, on their website than at Marshall Field's. Mommy says that the store really marks up the price a lot. After Mommy graduates, she'll start sewing again and will make me cute shirts that don't have to go over my head. :)

Afternoon to everyone!
For some reason, dogster wasn't letting me enter my diary entry, but I think it's all better so here's what I was going to write.
I'm such a good doggy because I remind granddaddy when there is food around. A few weeks ago, there was a bowl of popcorn that auntie set by granddad so he could eat some, but he didn't realize that it was there. I let him know it was there by grring and staring up at him. He said, "I don't have any food," but I knew better and persisted until he realized that there actually was food. This morning, auntie made him a waffle and he forgot about it, but I reminded him that he had food to eat by again sitting by him and staring up at him, grring occasionally. Again, he was wondering what I was doing because he didn't think that he had any food. Eventually, he was like, "Oh. I have to eat my waffle. Haha! DeeDee knows when I have food." Yes, I am a dutiful dog. :) Sometimes I get rewarded for it, too, by getting food scraps. Mommy says I'm getting fat, so she has decreased the amount of kibble I get when I have breakfast and dinner. :( What a party pooper! Doesn't she know that food is one of my all time favorite things? Hmm, I guess I'll have to resort to turning on the charms to get more food scraps from granddaddy.

My playtime arch enemy, Mommy's hand, was hypering me up into a frenzy so I went zooming, zooming, zooming across the dining room, living room and foyer. Then Mommy fed me. Good times! Good times!
Oh yeah, and Mommy found that I successfully ripped into super-squeaky monkey's hand, so I think she's going to buy more a whole lot more of those toys!!! Yippie! I should destroy my toys more often.

Hola! Today's been a lazy day. Mommy slept in a little bit, and I kept trying to get her up. I was grring, softly woofing, pawing at her, jumping on and off the bed, etc... She didn't get up for like half an hour. When I finally gave up, she got up. I think she did that on purpose.
Outside this morning, I pooed, but the frozen grass was so cold on my tiny feeties that I finished my business while standing on the pavement with my butt over the grass. Last year for Christmas, Mommy bought me Muttluks boots, but I didn't like them and wouldn't even let Mommy put all four of the shoes on. I think they were too big and stiff for my petite little feet anyway. Anyway, that's when Mommy discovered, through trial-and-error, how to make me go potty on the pee pee pads in the winter, once it got below freezing out. Hopefully we'll be moving somewhere warm once Mommy graduates and gets starts her career. That way, I won't have to suffer through the harsh winter... and neither will Mommy. We'll have to see though.
Mommy's been doing doggy research coding, and I've been basking in what warmth the sunshine provides and napping. Later, she's going to the library to study since she says that sometimes there are too many distractions at home. I think she means, including me!!! How can that be? :( Woe is me. Auntie said that she'd take me on a walk though. :)

Heellooo!
I'm almost at more than 1000 views on dogster! So exciting! This past week, Mommy was really busy and didn't even let me update my diary as much. Tonight, Mommy left me home to go watch The Incredibles with one of her friends from high school. Mommy said it was great. :) Too bad I wasn't there with her warming her lap like I usually do when she's staring at any kind of screen. She's doing doggy coding so I will be able to do so right now. Night all you doggy-woggies.
