Mommy thought it'd be entertaining to put the picture of the chimpanzee who threw the rock on Sunday. Doesn't she know that this is DOGSTER, not CHIMPSTER!?! Anyway, Mommy helped me edit the photo and add text. She mainly helped me drag and click the mouse--being such a small dog does not generally enable me to carry out such a task by myself.

So, the male chimpanzee was displaying and trying to "scare off" the Head of Conservation who was giving Mommy and her class the informal tour at the Detroit Zoo. The male chimp charged and threw a rock at him (Mommy was very nearby but taking pictures). According to Mommy, his aim was very good and only missed the guy by a few inches. Ex-ex daddy wrote about it in his blog. You can go here to read it and see yet another picture and "storytelling" of the incident. Now... Something about me. Mommy's ex-boyfriend used to say that I looked like an eggplant when I would mark. I wouldn't really know this 1)because I never see myself when I mark, and 2) because I do not know what an eggplant is. Anyway, I guess the reasoning behind it is that I lift of my hind legs when I mark so the end of my body curves slightly. Maybe one day, Mommy will take a picture of it when I'm not wearing my Fido Fleece so you can actually see what I'm talking about, since I'm sure that you have no idea what I'm describing to you. Until then, enjoy the photo of the chimp throwing a rock.

Update: 11/15/04 Heh heh! I took down the picture of the chimp to replace it with a picture of ME. Actually, I look a little fat in that picture. Hmm, oh well. You can send me a message if you are super-duper curious to see the picture of the chimp throwing a rock. :)
