Last week Mommy and I went for a walk to go get the mail at the apartment mail center. After we got the mail, we were just walking and then I suddenly beelined for a big tall pine tree. I walked over to it and turned and looked at Mommy and kind of bowed my head down and then looked at the tree as a sort of introduction between the two. I wanted Mommy to know what wonderful pinecones the tree produced - pinecones perfect for her to kick and for me to chase. She couldn't resist my straightforward request and kicked around pinecones for me. I was intensely joyful. After I chased the pincones for a while, I plopped down and ripped them to shreds little mouthful by little mouthful. There was one that I didn't decimate, and so I carried it in my mouth on the way back to the apartment. I was so cute!
