Arrival Story: Mommy always wanted her own puppy. When she was a little girl, her mommy and daddy never let her have any furry friends. How she longed for a puppy so bad! One day, her cousin surprised the family with a cute big-eared Chihuahua with balloons tied to her ears. Her name would be Lois. How could Mommy's Daddy say no to that? He couldn't and he didn't. Lois lived for 12 years with mommy's family. Eventually, mommy grew up and moved out. Sadly, in January of 2008 Lois passed away while mommy was on her way back from a vacation in Telluride, Co. Mommy experienced unbearable pain during Lois' last moments. Lois' body was giving in to illness. Mommy's sisterhad called her on the phone hysterical while Lois was breathing her last breaths. Even though mommy couldn't be there physically while Lois was dying, she was there in the heart. Mommy never knew such pain existed. Lois will always be loved until the end of time.
A few months after Lois passed away, even though Lois can never be replaced, my mommy realized it doesn't mean she can't share her giant heart with another puppy. She researched breeds and had her heart set on a schnauzer. She found a reputable breeder in Missouri, saw a picture of me and just from one picture Mommy took her chances on me. When mommy first saw me, she knew I was the one. Now I am mommy's dearest, I am her baby, and she will love me forever. Until the end of time.
Bio: I was born on March 14, 2008 in Joplin, Missouri. I lived with my birth mommy and littermates until I was 7 weeks old. Then, on one sunny day, my new mommy, daddy and brother came over to take me to my new home. I said goodbye and good luck to my littermate Brett and said hello to my new pack. I was scared of them at first, shivering and trembling in the car. It was a long 7 hour ride to my new home in Illinois!!! It took us forever to get home because my new pack made about a million stops on the way! I finally made it!

Sadly, I was dognapped earlier this week. It had to be one of the saddest days in my mommy's life. I was taken from my mommy's car when I was left in the car for a very, very short time. It was in the 60's that evening and mommy left the windows cracked open, but she didn't realize they were open a bit TOO much.When my family came back to the car I was gone!
Mommy was in despair and immediately began searching for me. Daddy called the cops and filed a report. People in the area were questioned to see if anybody saw anything. Someone did! They saw a young woman with a lab dog holding me!
All night long mommy cried and searched for me. I was nowhere in sight. It didn't help that I got stolen in an unfamiliar town, we were all on vacation out of state. The next day mommy and daddy were still searching for me but to no avail. Mommy and daddy got to a computer and made flyers. They offered a reward for my safe return. Later that day, mommy and daddy got a call from someone who claimed they had me. She said she found me somewhere (very far from the car) which seemed suspicious esp. since someone witnessed a young girl holding me by the car. Mommy and daddy picked me up from her house where they saw a lab dog. They were just so glad to see me again that they didn't question the woman.
Later that night, someone called saying they knew the woman who took the dog. They said they were there when it happened and saw her break into our car and steal me. They said I was frightened to death and hiding under the car seat barking. That person felt bad and thought it was wrong. They told us the thief's name and it turned out the thief had given us a fake name. Daddy called the police and she is currently being questioned. My pawrents are filing charges against her.
It feels sooo good to be back! What a horrific nightmare we all went through. We really thought we'd never be together again.
Dognapping is apparently more common than my mommy ever thought it was. Needless to say, mommy will never leave me unattended in a car, not even for a second!

I would of course be coconut!!! Mommy says my fur is like coconut! Therefore if I transformed into ice cream I would be coconut ice cream.
MMMM...She'd lub it if I were ice cream!! Only for a day tho.

1. What color is your collar? My collar is pink faux snakeskin. I'm very in with the latest trends! Well not really...I've had it for quite some time.
2. What kind of food do you eat? Used to eat royal canin then it made me puke. Started eating purina and I lub it!!

Do treats from the litter box count? BOL just kidding OOOOH. There's many but I especially lub it when mommy gives me turkey bacon. I also lub cookies, dog cookies, the ones they sell at Petco.
4. Do you have a Valentine or significant other? Hee hee hee. That's for me to know and you to find out!
5. Do you get Table Scraps? Sometimes. Mommy tries really hard not to (mean mommy!) but my puppy eyes work magic.
6. What is your favorite toy? Anything made out of rope. I usually destroy the hecky out of anything stuffed but rope toys are the funnest for me.

8. How many times a day do you get to eat? Twice. Breakfast and dinner and sometimes dessert. Yum yum! You got me thinking about food now me hungry!!

Today my mofur gave me a bath real early in the morning. I knew she was up to no good. We all got in the car after that. My pawrents said they were taking me to Woofstock in Decatur, IL!
When I got there I saw so many doggies, I wondered what all the madness was about. I guess it was just a big get together for all us doggies and pawrents! There were so many treats and goodies, and I made a lot of furriends too. I sniffed yorkies, labs, poodles, shi tzus, I even saw a few other schnauzers like me! Mommy and daddy ate some hot dogs (which I was very suspicious of where they come from). I just really hope my pawrents don't get any ideas...
