Another FUN weekend!

Mom and I went back to the pub on Saturday, and it was CRAZY! When we first got there, my friend with the mohawk was there and I saw him and lept into his arms again! I just love Spike. We rolled around on the floor and I licked his face a bunch and tried to attack his funny spikey fur on his head! He and mom just laughed and laughed. Oh! And the nice bartender lady; she has a wee-little bowl for me now and she put my name on it! It's just for me and she gives me Evian water in it! She says only French water for a French doggie! Oui Oui! People are so nice to me at the Hooverville!

It was nice and quiet at the pub for a while until a BAZILLON humans all came in singing loud and jumping up and down and crowding the place up! I jumped up and sat on mom's lap to watch. I didn't want to get stepped on! Mom says the pub place got real full because there was a soccer game at the stadium next door. She said it was Canada vs Brazil and that Brazil won, and that's why people were jumping around and singing. Sometimes humans are SO weird! I eventually fell asleep with my head buried down the front of mom's shirt. She said it looked funny. I don't know what she's talking about.

Today, we went to the park, my favorite wetlands park. We were on the boardwalk when mom told me to sit and be good, because there were two beavers chopping a tree down and we should watch them quietly! We watched them gnaw a BIG tree until it fell over! Those beavers were giant too! Bigger than little old me! That tree scared me when it came crashing down. I wanted to run away!!! But mom picked me up and we continued our walk down the boardwalk. I love the park SO much! Watching beavers is good and fun, falling trees... not so much. BOL.

Ok, have to get ready for dinner! Mom's givin' me my special Sunday chicken! Oh yea!!

I had a bad tummy last weekend... :(

Well, my mom had to take me to see that nasty old vet (I kinda decided he was ok though in the end)...

Last Saturday, I stopped eating and mom wasn't really worried, but then on Sunday, I wouldn't eat again, my tummy just felt bad. On Monday, I would only eat a tiny bit of chicken from mom's hand, and that was all. By Tuesday mom was very very worried and she called those nasty vet people and took me to the doctor! Ewww!

Mom asked the vet what was wrong with me! The vet told her .... "you're a nervous new mom! There's nothing wrong with her!" That vet man gave me some nasty tasting dog food to eat, I hated it and wouldn't touch it, then I decided the next morning I was cured and ate my whole regular breakfast!

Mom says the vet told her that it was probably the water change that made my tummy feel yucky. I used to drink well water when I lived with my breeder mom, but when I moved here to Redmond, I started drinking city water. Mr. Vet said that's probably what made my tummy yucky.

I feel good today and was playing and bouncing off the walls as normal. Yea! Tomorrow is suppose to be sunny and warm out. Mom says we can go for a ride in the convertible to my favorite park! Weeee woof woof!

Lake Andi!

Well mom gave me a bath yesterday. I did really good. I stood still, let her rub in lavender shampoo and I even let her clean out my ears! Mom thinks I don't really mind having a bath now and again.

Baths make me SUPER fluffy! When I got out of the big tub I shook and shook and mom laughed lots because she says I made Lake Andi in the bathroom! EVERYTHING was wet and drowned! I tore insanely around the house for an hour air drying myself and rolling around on all the rugs! Mom finally caught me and I let her brush my ears, collar and fluffy hiney and tail. You should see me now! Even my little domed head is fluffy fuzzy! I look and smell like a princess!

We're going for our walk to Starbucks now... yea! I still love my walk and my scone treats!

Pubs are Pawsome!

That mom of mine is SO goofy! We went to stay with friends of hers this weekend and I barked and barked at them every time they stood up. Mom doesn't know why yet, maybe I'll let her know later.

BUT, mom took me to what she calls "her favorite pub" Now, I don't know what a pub is, but there were some people there who just thought I was the cutest pup ever! I especially was watching this one man with funny fur! It stood up on his head in tall yellow spikes! I think I love him. When he FINALLY paid attention to me, I jumped into his arms and licked his face! My mom told me I shouldn't bother people we don't know, but I just couldn't help it. He told me I was the sweetest pup he'd ever met! He played with me lots and wore me out! The nice bartender lady gave me some water, then I fell asleep on mom's table. I even slept right through all the noisy music! Mom says I can go to pubs with her if they don't serve food. It was fun! I hope I see "Spike" again!

Mom also got me a car harness yesterday. OK, I don't really like the harness very much BUT, it does mean I can ride in her car with the top off the car! Oh I live riding in the topless car with the wind in my ear fur! It's furtastic! As long as mom takes the harness off right away, I will wear it for the car, because the breeze is so nice!

Mom and another lady laughed real hard yesterday. I had my harness on and was in the car when a lady parked next to us and she also had her doggie in a harness in her topless car! It was funny because my mom drives a big Mustang GT and I'm a little pup. The other lady had a little tiny Z3 BMW and she had a BIG Rottie in her car. They laughed and said "we should switch dogs to match our cars!" I got scared, I didn't want to ride in any car but mom's. I'm glad mom and the lady were just joking.

Mom and I are going for a drive now, so I'm gonna go get my harness now and go for a ride! Yea!!

Sleeping in is Pawsome!

Whew! Mom didn't make me get up at 4:30am today! I was scared I was going to have to again! We cuddled up and slept in until almost 8am and it was pawsome!

Mom says I have to get ready to go now though, we're going on our Saturday walk to Starbucks for a scone (I luv scones!) and I'll have water and mom will have that nasty coffee. I don't know why she likes that stuff.

Mom says I need to meet and talk to lots of people so I'm no so shy anymore. I'm not scared or mad about meeting new people, but I really like them to admire me from afar. When they try to pet me, I kind of shrink up a little bit. I am doing much better at work! Meeting people there is safe now and I hardly shrink there anymore. Mom says that's super-duper good and that I should meet new people at places other than work now! I dunno if I want to, but mom seems to think it's important!

Mom did find out one thing though this week; I do NOT want to be carried anywhere for more than a few seconds. What do I look like? A fluffy accessory? I will walk for myself thank you very much! Besides, it's my most endearing feature, I don't stroll, I prance!

She made me get up at FOUR-THIRTY this morning! We were at that work place by 5:00am! This is NOT pawesome! I'm so sleepy and I didn't want to get out of moms bed. Mom pestered me and took a picture of me on my shelf at work...

My Breeder Mom Is SO SWEET!

My mom got a BIG surprise today! My breeder mom (who I don't even miss anymore too much!) sent mom some pictures of me from when I was a baby pup! I was SOOOO fluffy cute (I'm still really fluffy cute actually BOL!!) Mom was very happy to have some puppy pictures of me! You can look at them on my photos page!

Mom gave me a "Greenie" tonight and I really liked it! I liked it so much I ate the WHOLE thing right away! It was kind of big too! Mom called me a pig with cute ears and says we spoiled my dinner! BOL!

My mom just told me that we have to go cuddle up in her big bed now because we have to go to work REALLY early in the morning, at 5:00am! I dunno what she's talking about, but she says we have to go now because if we don't we'll both be cranky tomorrow.

I Got's Secrets!!!

Well, I've been going to work with mom, it's pretty boring really. She just types and types, but sometimes I reach my paw over and help her. Or at least I think I'm helping her. Last time I did it she laughed and said "You silly pappy, I didn't need you to delete that!!" I dunno what that means but she laughed so that's good, right? Right? I think I'll get used to going to work. The human who shares mom's office with her has THREE standard poodles; he brings me treats, but mom says his furbabies can't come to work because they're too big. I think I like being a little pup!

I've been keeping secrets from mom again. Wanna know what I showed her today? I like to play with one toy every day. And ONLY that toy! Mom put all my toys back in my basket this morning, and I was sure that she didn't mean to do that, and I pulled them all back out and and made sure they were all over the living room. Never know when mom might get bored and need one of my toys to play with!! Today, my favorite toy is my flossie rope. I spent half the day at work flipping it up in the air and shaking it hard so the knots were hitting my little domed head! Mom was afraid I was going to knock myself out cold!

Mom and I also went to PetSmart and I kind of helped pick out some new toys (it's hard to concentrate at PetSmart, so oooo many good smells!), but when I got home, I still only wanted to play with my flossie rope. Maybe I'll pick one of my new toys tomorrow! But I haven't decided yet.

It's almost time for bed! Time to cuddle in Mom's memory foam bed and down comforter! I love mom's bed!!

It's my fourth day at home!

Hi! I'm Andi! It's my fourth day living with my new mom and my human sister Alex. It's been such a busy few days! You know how those humans require so much training! But, they're doing very well, and I'm proud of them! They seem to respond best to reward training and I let them pet and hug on me when they've done good! Good humans!

I think I might miss my brothers and sisters a little bit, but I'm getting over it, mom and my Alex play almost as good as they did. AND they can throw my ball for me and it's pretty hard to tire them out!

I am keeping secrets from my humans, because I'm sly that way. I did let them in on one secret right away though. I can ring a bell to go outside. My mom is so smart... she noticed right away that I nudge my lead when I want to go outside for a potty; so mom got a pretty little brass bell and stuck it to the door. Now, I just ring the bell when I want to go outside! I surprised her. She thought she was going to train me to ring the bell! But oh no! I'm gonna train her! I have a whole lot more secrets I'm not going to tell her, she'll just have to wait until I decide to clue her in!

Mom has a whole pocket full of treats, I know she keeps them in her right front pocket. She's been teaching me to sit. I have "sit" down stone cold, and I learned it FAST! She's training me to "down" now. My hind end isn't cooperating--my front goes down, but my hiney and glorious tail keep popping up in the air! But I think I'm going to get it soon!! She says as soon as I learn "down, stay" we can go to the agility course and I can have some fun running through chutes and weave poles! I can't wait! I've never played at a playground before! I'm very excited!

Mom and I are getting ready to go work now. I'm going to sit on her desk today and help her publish Web sites. I don't know what that is, it might be boring, but she tells me there's a Yorkie at work named Zoe who might be a good friend to me! I am excited to meet Zoe!
