Woof! Woof! My birthday was 6 days ago on March 6. I turned 14 years old which means I'm almost 100! I didn't really do anything special, but my owner did bake me a doggy cupcake. She put some crushed up treats in my bowl with one really tiny, but cold, scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Around the white snow mountain she put some wet food which made my mountain look like a castle with a moat! I had absolutely no idea that she did this for me all because I turned 14. I woke up and walked right into the kitchen, not expecting a thing, but then daddy and mommy with my sisters all jumped out and said HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I was so happy that I didn't even see the food castle until after they gave me hugs and kisses.
I can't believe I'm 14/98..... I still run up and down the hallway, even if it does hurt my hind legs. I'm not ready to end playing around with my family just because I'm 'too old'. In my book, you're never too old! Well I'll catch up with you all soon, hopefully!

Today is March 6, 2010 and that day is the best day of the year. It is my birthday!!! It was great. I woke up at 11:00 a.m. and went into the kitchen! In the kitchen were my grandparents, and their puppy Lily. I was so glad people came to see me on my birthday. I recieved 3 treats. One was green, the other was red, and the last was yellow. They were very good! I didn't get any presents but it's okay, what could a dog possibily need other than love and treats? Towards the end of the day my owners sang happy birthday, and I lied down and fell fast asleep.

P.S. I turned 10!

I don't have a lot of friends near where I live, so I get pretty lonely! My daddy takes me to the dog park, but none of the dogs I meet there live near me! So one day my owner took me on a walk and I met a labor doodle named Casey. It turned out that he lived in my neighborhood so I was very excited that I had a friend to go on walks with! Now everyday we walk together and play together!! I love having a friend in the neighborhood!!!

Happy Holidays!!

I love all holiday seasons because it is a time where we all pig out, and then five minutes afterward, we regret eating that much! I love getting table scraps and presents, but the top thing i love about holidays is being with my family. Family come from far and near just to see you and "catch up" with events. What is the definition of family? Is it people who come to see you every year for the food? Or is it people who love and cherish you no matter what you do? I don't know about you, but when I wake up on the holidays, I go strait to my owner and give him a big bear hug. I want them to know that it isn't the presents that matter to me, it's them! HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE, AND HAVE A GRRRRREAT NEW YEAR!! ;)

Woof! Woof! Do you always get in trouble for everything that goes wrong? I do, today. When my family came back from church, a squirrel ripped up trash bags from yesterday. They blamed me, they said that I should have barked at it so it would not come on the deck anymore. So they put me outside. I had nothing to do but look around.
Another time that I was blamed was because my owner spilled something and I was next to her so they thought that I did it. And like always they put me outside on the deck! Again, I had nothing to do, except watch the cars that go by. The good news that comes out of being in trouble is that my owner gives me two treats. They are so good!

Walkie-talkies

Woof! Woof! My owner played a joke on my daddy. She clipped on a walkie-talkie to my collar. When my dad came home she talked into the walkie-talkie she had. It was a very funny time for us. My dad didn't believe it for one minute because he knew that not even in a hundred years dogs will talk. I wish I could talk because then I can tell my family what I did all day. (not that I did anything) Maybe she will try this prank on April Fools Day, but who knows.

Pooches at the Park!

Woof! Woof! I had a wonderful day at the dog park. I saw a lot of dogs. At first my nose was all tingly, but then I got used to it. My family and I have an inside joke. Whenever I sniff a tree it is called, "IMing" While I was "IMing" we went into the dog park. My mom was scared for me to go into the park so she stayed outside the fence.
I played with a puppy that is the same breed I am. (Rottweiler/German Shepherd/Retriever) He was very playful and active. All I wanted to do was sniff the dogs and walk around. He on the other "paw" did not want to sniff other dogs and walk around. he wanted to play. I didn't have the energy though.
I met a Husky. I don't know what it is about them, I just love to play with Huskies. I once went to another dog park and met a Husky, we played by jumping up, and belly-slamming each other. OW!! Also when I go on my long walks on the weekends there is this Husky. His name is Arnold. He and I really want to play, but we can't because he is kept in by an invisible-fence.
I hope I meet more Huskies and a lot more dogs. Maybe I will meet a dogster dog one day!!
