Following my Mom everywhere she goes, thoroughly licking Dad's face, Nylabones, using my human siblings as agility obstacles! Playing tug o' war. The laser pointer!! And now I love playing with my new sister, Ruby!

Being left alone, strangers wearing hats (it's ok for my family to wear them, though), that kid across the street. Not getting to play with the laser pointer!!

Favorite Toy:
LASER POINTER!!!! and tug o' war toy.

Favorite Food:
Purina One Lamb and Rice

Favorite Walk:

Best Tricks:
I can sit, lay down, sit up, shake with both paws, roll over and give high fives!

Arrival Story:
We adopted Schatzie from Poodle Rescue of Houston

Schatzie was abandoned at a Vet Clinic. They checked her out, found she was healthy and took her to a local poodle rescue. We visited the rescue because our neighbors adopted a wonderful dog from the group and we wanted to see if a poodle was right for us. We knew she was the one for us almost immediately. She was calm, affectionate and had those sad puppy dog eyes! We brought her home, changed her name from Bella 2 to Schatzie and she took over the family right away. We couldn't ask for a better dog. Schatzie is patient and gentle. She plays when you want to play and sits quietly on the couch when you feel like watching tv. She loves my kids and seems to know instinctively how to treat each of them. I never thought of myself as a "poodle person," but have let go of that silly idea and found my perfect dog in a poodle mix.

Go Steelers!!!!!!! We totally beat the pants off of the Chargers!! Our offensive line looked great and Ben played as well as he ever has. On top of that, Willie Parker is back on his game, too! Oh it was lovely to watch!!! If we play like that against Baltimore we can beat them, too!!! Here we go Steelers, here we go!!!!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

I went to get a haircut today and the groomer told my Mom I was a bad girl! She totally tattled on me!! She said I fought her on everything... and so what if I did! I don't like being groomed and I never will! I don't know why everyone is acting surprised. But, I do look super cute and dainty again. I got a sweater, too since it's still cold and I'm practically naked! This time I got my little bandanna even though I was bad. They didn't give me one last time!
The really bad news is that my groomer is moving to another Pet___. I guess we'll have to find someone else 'cause the new location is too far away. What a bummer! I really think she did a great job despite my, shall we say, high spirits. Oh well, since the Steelers won I can't be too upset about anything!!

So it's a new year!

We had a great Christmas at our house! Lot's of fun, family and food!! I got some great presents. Treats, toys and a Snow White costume! What, a Snow White costume!? Even though my parents don't normally dress me up, (my Steelers jersey on game days doesn't count as dressing up!) they said they couldn't pass this one up because my human sister has a Snow White costume, too. I must say we do look very cute together!!

All of the humans got sick after Christmas. I felt bad for them but at least it kept them home with me! Since they were all laying around I had someone to snuggle with pretty much 24/7!! Not that I'm glad they were sick or anything!

New Year's Eve was pretty quiet. The humans still weren't feeling completely well so we all stayed home, watched the ball drop and had a sparkling lemonade toast at midnight! We got to see some nice fireworks around the neighborhood, too.

So here's to a new year! Good luck and good health to all the dogsters out there!!

Ok, ok. I know that garbage is garbage. You guys think its gross. I get it, already. I've been here for over seven months and never once have I touched it. But what do you expect when you put a can of meat drippings in there!? Am I not human? If you prick me, do I not bleed? (Ok, so I'm not human but you know what I mean!) Can't a girl eat a little bit of perfectly good food that just happened to be in a big can without everyone freaking out?! Hey, I would have cleaned up all that stuff that was on the floor but you came home before I could get to it!
Anyway, I'm sorry. You already know I learned my lesson when I couldn't digest that potato skin. Yeah, I did barf it up in the bedroom. So, your mad about that, too?! Jeez-o-man what else have I done wrong!?
