Time flies...

Hey all,
I know I haven't came here a lot. With dad and mom in college I don't get much time to get on the computer. Right now Dad is at work and Mom is studding so I am sneaking on here.

So much has happened in this year. We moved to Florida, which I like it a lot better. We live on the Military base here and there is tons of room for me to run. Dad is now a Military cop so we go running every day for 5 miles. The beach is my favorite place to run. I love to chase the squirals that are in my yard. The dumb things even ate threw a power line! They are all over my yard.

My human brother and sister had a birthday. Lee Alan is now 4. He goes to headstart during the day, and I miss him a lot. I will sleep by the door until Mom goes to get him off the bus. He is my best buddy other then Dad! He plays with me so much. My sister plays with me a little bit. Elaine is only 2 so with me being so big now she tends to stay clear, but when she does play with me I am very gentel with her. We like to play tag. She will come and touch me then run and I chase after her and then gently touch her with my nose. I love those two so much that when it comes to bed time I sleep between their doors.

Mom is in the middle of making me a new bed. I tore up the other one. I just couldn't help it. It was saying play tug of war with me! I am now a big dog! But Mom says I am still a pup. I guess to her I will always be her baby, just like Lee Alan and Elaine.

I am in my first heat, so Mom and Dad says. I don't like it, Mom puts these undies with a pad in there. She says she don't want blood on the floor. They are talking about fixing me?! I have no clue what that means but mom said there would be no more of the undies with pad's, so if that fixes it I am game! Well it looks like mom wants back on the computer. I hope that I get to update you all more often.

Thanks Dad.......

Can you belive it. My mom can't spell my name right. If it wasn't for my dad looking at this page and saying ummmm it is spelled Akira not Akria she would of never noticed. She wouldn't listen to me, maybe cause I kept barking. So Mom got it fixed FINALLY my name is right and it has the correct spelling. Sheesh you would think since my name means "bright" she would listen. We know who the "bright" one in the family is.

Already here a week and loving it....

Well we have had Akira for a week and WE LOVE HER TO DEATH. She already knows she sleeps with us ( yeah we gave in lol ). She is already house broken, starting to learn obey's, and she is already being protictive over us. She sleeps facing the door already, follows the kids around and makes sure they are not doing anything wrong. So far we couldn't have asked for a better dog. I will defently keep you posted on the progress of Akira and her walk threw life.
