Arrival Story:
I got him from a gal in the town next to mine when he was about 6 weeks old. He was originally suppose to be my dog but when my dad saw him , teddy stole his heart and has been my dads dog ever since.
Bio:
Teddy is wonderful, except he likes to act a little too tuff for his size . Teddy gets his scruffiness from having terrier blood. :) He's 3/4 Dachshund and 1/4 terrier, but alot of people say he looks just like a wirehaired dachshund.

Oh Teddy! How you've been such a wonderful buddy to your human buddy, my Dad. When I first brought you home and Dad looked into your puppy eyes I knew he fell in love the first time he made eye contact with you. Like you and the rest of the 'Pack' of doxies we have, we have the utmost unconditional love for you guys. You have been such a wonderful friend to Dad and for years to come!

Today, While my owner and his daughter were in the big city, they stopped by petsmart and got me this BOONIE HAT! Did you see the stunning picture of me wearing it? I look so handsome, dontcha think?

On 2/28/06 I went into the Vet's office to see what was wrong with me ,because I wasn't my normal self since sunday the 26th. I wasn't jumping up to Daddy or even trying to get next to him, I would sit on my bottom in front on his chair and cry to let him know I wanted up so he could pick me up, because i hurt to bad to jump up to him and give him lovins. I'd even let out a few yelps if he touched me the slightest way. I got taken to the Vet's office on the 28th and the doctor there said a few of my disks in my back were mineralized because of a old back injury that i completely forgot about. After I get off my antibiotics, the doc is going to put me on prednisone for a short term to make me feel better! Hope all goes well! I can sympathise with all those doxies out there now that have back problems and I have one thing to say about it " It's NO FUN!"
