Arrival Story:
My husband and I were looking for a friendly, sweet, adult dog. We knew we didn't have the time for a puppy at this stage in our lives. We wanted a dog that would be gentle with our cat, and loving to everyone. We adopted Gracie when she was 2.5 years old from Midwest Labrador Retriever Rescue. We applied to adopt from them, and when I saw Gracie's picture on their web site, I said to my husband, "I hope they let us meet her." The rescue group did, and I knew she would be a great dog for us. We brought her home in August of 2007, and she has been a great addition to our little family!
