   Leave a bone for Toby

Toby, monkey face, munchkin, the Tobster, the Brave Little Tobster

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

snuggling, chewing on a greenie, tugging on rope toy

Being left alone, the cat jumping up out of reach, the dreaded BROOM monster

Favorite Toy:
blue plush squeeky ring, and greenies, lots of greenies

Favorite Food:
treats of any kind, but greenies will do in the absence of food or treats

Favorite Walk:
To the mailbox and back, but would rather be carried; anywhere Mom's feet go.

Best Tricks:
PUPPY KISSES, looking cute, sit, down, rollover, learning others (and getting the tricks mixed up)

Arrival Story:
Looking for a dog for allergy sufferers, and then found a Maltipoo breeder. Waiting was sooooo hard. But now that he is here, he has totally stolen our hearts.

Toby has become the guardian of the house. He is a BIG attitude in a little package. There are some bulldozers parked nearby, and he has a fit barking and growling at them. He doesn't bark at other dogs or people. But strange machines, he feels the need to guard us fiercely.

Forums Motto:
it's all about the kisses

Protecting Mom from the broom monster!

Every couple of days, this tall skinny monster, Mom calls it a broom, comes out of the closet and attacks Mom. I try very hard to protect her, mostly by barking, yapping, growling, and trying to distract the broom monster, but it keeps attacking her.

Today, though, I was able to chase it back into the closet, because I kept barking the whole time. I can't let this monster attack my MOM! She and this monster look awful dancing across the floor.

But I really showed it who's boss today! And I managed to scatter all the dirt it left in the floor. I know Mom hates dirt in the floor, so I got rid of the broom monster's dirt by scattering it around.

Mom laughed at me and petted me, so I know she is proud of me. I will keep up the lookout for broom monster, and whenever it comes out if its closet, I will chase it back in for Mom.

It was a good day!

The story of potty-training

I have been trying and trying to remember not to go potty in the house, but I keep forgetting. My people take me outside lots of times, but I just can't always remember. Well, when they catch me, they scold me and take me outside. If I go outside, they praise me and play ball with me, and I'm the greatest. Well, today, I went on the pee-pee pad in the house, and Mom saw me. I just knew she was going to scold me because it was in the house. But she didn't. She praised me and showed Dad. He praised me too. What's up with that?

I guess going potty on the pee-pee pad is ok, if I can't make it outside. I'll have to try really hard to remember that.
