Arrival Story:
Lyra came into Great Dane Rescue as an emciated beat up 4 month old girl. She was borderline human and dog aggressive. From what we were told by A/C who picked her up, she had been running loose as a stray, several folks reported seeing her being atttacked by other stray dogs. Rescue allowed me to foster her and try to work with her to ease her issues and frustrations. As a reasult I fell in love wither her peronslity and attitude, and adopted her.

Bio:
Lyra is a very active Dane, one who requires long daily walks to help keep her frustration level in balance. We also take obedience classes with an eye towards competitive obedience or rally in the upcoming year.
