Nicknames:
Sir Mutley Moe

Sun Sign:
Birthday:
June 26th 2005

Arrival Story:
I found Mutley in the Ozark Mountains Of Missouri as a puppy to help with my loss of my Misty. I actually flew him here to Laurel Md. to be my buddy. We bonded and he was my little clown. He loved to chase squirrels. He just didn't get to chase as many as we wanted to.

Bio:
On April 28, 2008, I took Mutley to Well Pet Clinic on Leonardtown Rd. In Waldorf, Md to be neutered and shortly after leaving him I recieved a devasting call that they were sorry they had lost him and they could not explain why. I am devastated and have been severely traumatized by this. He was only 2yrs and 10 months old. He was still a baby. They are owned by Last Chance rescue. I am left with no answers . My heart is broken. My life will never be the same. Please check out any place you are going to leave your precious best friend.

I would like you to know that the Waldorf well pet clinic 4499 Leonardtown Rd , Waldorf, Md is operated by last chance rescue. They used a drug called XYLAZINE, not recommended for dogs & cats , by the drug manufacturer. This is used on CATTLE, HORSES & DEER. I gave no informed consent to be used on my dog. It carries 43 times the risk for death than safer comparable more expensive drugs. I was not given a choice. I was told that this is apparently acceptable to be used in a rescue and shelter setting, I came here as a PUBLIC client. I was not told of any affillation to a rescue group . My Mutley was not a rescue or shelter or unowned pet, he was a much loved PRIVATELY owned pet. The necropsy showed a NORMAL, HEALTHY dog. He died from an adverse drug reaction related to XYLAZINE. I intrusted my beloved Mutley to be kept safe and that was not to be. Dr Owoeye did NOT do a neuter surgery, however I was charged even though my dog died here. It is not about money . This clinic gave me no answers as to what happened to my Mutley a part of my family that did not live to come back home with his family. Please if you have a bad experience here please contact me , 301-497-7692 I also believe that rescue and shelter pets should have access to safer drugs as well. My heart is FOREVER BROKEN, IMISS HIM SO MUCH. I WILL ALWAYS MISS MY SWEET SILLY PUPPY
