My husband and I were driving our fourwheeler back his grandmothers road and we saw a little dog at the side. We brung him back to our house and washed him and fed him. He was covered in ticks and was starved.

A Dog's Life by Corey

Last night after mommy fed me she put me to bed and later daddy came out and let me come in again! I love sleeping inside the house all warm and close to my daddy and mommy.

Mommy says I have to get use to sleeping outside to get ready for my first winter because I'm not suppose to be an inside dog. It's ok because I like to run around and smell everything. I chase squirrels and play with the neighbor dogs.

Mommy put me out this morning and I curled up on the driveway in the sun. I thought I heard something and started to bark but it didn't keep my interest for very long. Back to napping!

Last night was exciting. It was my first encounter with Coyotes. Mommy was taking Zachary out and she saw me staring at the field behind my house. She asked me what was wrong and she got a flashlight and looked. Three Coytoes were walking in the field. Mommy got in the car and honked the horn to scare them away and then her and daddy let me sleep inside the house that night. I slept on mommy's leopard print rug on the floor by daddy's side of the bed.

Boy I was scared. I had no idea what those things were. I'm sure glad mommy and daddy were there to protect me.
