I beg real good- I'm irresistible. I can also rollover real fast and shake hands and give high-fives. I'm super fast too!

Arrival Story:
When my parents were living in St. Louis during their first newlywed year of marriage, they decided they wanted to adopt a dog. My mommy scoured the internet looking for pound puppies and rescue dogs and saw my picture on petfinder. She said she immediately fell in love. I was in CA though so my grandparents secured my adoption and I stayed with them for a month until my parents could take me back home with them. Now we're all back in CA!

I acquired many frequent flyer miles when we lived in St. Louis because my parents would always take me with them in my sherpa bag whenever we'd visit both sets of grandparents in CA. I am a lucky pooch because my grandparents spoil me like crazy. Unfortunately, mommy & daddy only like to give me minimal snacks and feed me only dry dog food. But whenever I'm at the grandparents, I can always show them my puppy dog eyes and they are at my mercy.

UCLA dog days!

This past Saturday, Mommy & Daddy finally took me to UCLA like they've been promising for years! They showed us where they met (Sproul Hall) and walked us all around the campus. Boy, did we get a good workout! There are so many hills and stairs to climb up and down. It sure was pretty though!

Lots of students who saw us told us how cute we were. I didn't even growl at any of them. I was a good boy. I wanted to sniff everything. At one point, a squirrel jumped out of a trash can and ran right past us and Theo went nuts. Mom & Dad tried to calm him down. But that's what terriers do. I was intriqued by it but I didn't go crazy like Theo did. We took some pictures so that Mom & Dad would have memories of this day to keep forever.

After walking around on campus, we walked into Westwood and we actually sat outside at a table while Mom & Dad ate. I tried to jump up into the 3rd chair a few times but Mom & Dad wouldn't let me. I did manage to convince Dad to let me in his lap though while he ate his Downtown LA dog! Mom had a BBQ bacon dog and it looked good! They gave us a couple of french fries afterwards but no hot dog. :( boo. There was a big dog that came out with his mom & dad out of a car right by us and Theo did not like that and started going nuts again. And I joined in on the barking. Had to let that other dog know its place. Mom & Dad were thoroughly embarrassed and were very glad they were the only ones eating outside of the restaurant that day.

Then we finished up and walked back to our car to go home. Since we walked so much, Theo & I were pretty wiped out and slept almost the whole way home.

Taking a trip

We're going to see Namaw & Papaw today (Grandma & Grandpa #2), Daddy's parents. Woohoo! Namaw always has so many treats at her house and even though Mommy & Daddy tell her not to feed me, she does anyways when they're not looking. :) I haven't seen them since Christmas so I'm excited. It's going to be a long, hot car ride to Bakersfield though. Even with the air conditioning blasting on my face, the sun has been killer the past few days. I wonder if Theo is going to stay in the backseat and let me have the front seat with Mama by myself? hmm... I'm going to have to practice my scary growl so he'll stay in the back.

I don't know about this business with being a big brother. This new pup is always trying to get my toys and tries to bait me by barking and pouncing and biting me. Doesn't he realize this is my house? And he's trying to chew on sandals and table legs and cords. Oy... Puppies... I'm not sure I'm cut out for the big brother role. But Mommy & Daddy say I better get used to it because Theo's not going anywhere.
