I'm so busy today.

When ever Gypsy gets wet I have to dry her off. I lick and lick all over her body until she is dry (or close).

Today Gypsy went swimming so I have a lot of work to do. Geez, this is going to take me forever.

Today, I was a good boy.

While we were eating one of the foster kittens ran up to my bowl and started eating. I admit, I got tense and stopped eating. Mom saw what happened and gave me a gentle touch on my behind. I started eating with the kitten but I'd grab a bite and move away to eat it. Mom stroked me on the back and told me I was a good boy then she picked the kitten up and took him to their food. Kittens shouldn't be eating doggy food, it isn't good for them.

Mom makes me feel like I can depend on her to make sure I get my food and I don't have to be mean to fend other doggies and kitties away. Mom rocks.

I've graduated

I was eating out of a bowl with baffles because I woofed down my food so fast Mom was concerned but she noticed I was taking small bites out of my bowl and taking time to chew so she tried me with a regular bowl and I've been doing well!! Woof!

Our Special Guests

We all have special guests in our home. Mom brought home a Kitty Mama and her five kittens on May 14th. We get to foster these kittens until they are old enough to be put up for adoption. Mom is really excited since she hasn't had a Momcat and her kittens since last years litter of 7. Mom says they became a real handful running about and doing kitten stuff. Mom gets to name these kittens but she says she won't name them until they are bigger and their personalities show. Mom thinks she is going to make a catster page just for them so she can share all the fun stuff.

Mom cat is really nice and doesn't mind anyone coming in to give her a hand with the kittens. They are in the closet of the spare bedroom right now but in a week or so Mom with let Mom cat out for a break. She snuck out once and mom found her in the living room with the dogs like she owned the place so she isn't worried about Mom and the rest of the family. Chessie can't wait until he can help mother the kittens. Mom will probably let him in to see Mom and kittens before everyone else.

MOM ABUSED ME!

Yes she did and I'm still mad. Apparently she had been planning this dastardly deed. They put my muzzle on and took me out to the front yard so I wasn't really expecting much although I had my suspicions since I was muzzled. They held me down and clipped my nails!!! How could they. I fought and screamed but Mom and Sis worked together to hold me down.

It was horrible. It took FOREVER, at least that is what it seemed like to me but Mom was saying how surprised at how well and quick it went.

The indignity will not be forgotten. I will have my revenge.

If you use Internet Explorer and have stopped by our pages only to not be able to see any thing give Gypsy's diary a read. IE had a bug which kept it from seeing the same thing as Mom saw in Firefox.

Mom says sorry, she should have been checking IE. She knows better than to assume it reads CSS correctly.

The dreaded Treadmill

Mom remembered the treadmill today. Roamer got on it first and she made sure I was there to watch. When it was my turn I was not keen on it at all. I ran, I fought and twisted but Mom would bring me on it while it was off and walk me back on. We did that a few times then Mom turned it on when I was on it and WOW did I make a fuss. Mom let me fuss around and wear myself out but she wasn't going to quit until I was walking on it nicely. She didn't make me walk long, then when she turned it off she let me outside to run around.

I hate that thing.

Whewww... Mom finally got done changing all our profiles. She customized each one for our personality or name.

Gypsy got puppies because she is so motherly.

Duke got food because he really really loves it.

Jojo got flowers because Jojo's Mom liked the background (thanks Lucy).

Poker got Frank Sinatra because he has blue eyes and is so handsome.

Tasso got little kitty Maine Coons because Mom couldn't think of something really timid (she didn't think it would be too flattering)

Boo got a "Does not play well with others" design because she doesn't.

Chessie got the king of hearts because he is just a lover boy and is the king of love.

Loki got a big ole tom cat because he thinks he is tough.

Mocha got a luscious cup of Mocha with a heart.

Sammy has a doctored up picture of Fabio (a must see, it is hilarious).

I hope everyone likes the new pages and will comment in our message box. Mom either made or modified all our backgrounds and made them tiling so you can't see a seam. Let's all give a hurrah for Mom for doing all the work for us.

A stranger came by...

I was out in the front yard (on a tie out) having a little fun with new smells, we usually aren't in the front yard.

While I was out there a doggie came wandering up to me. I tried to act all manly and stuff (I'm really a wuss) and Mom heard me barking. When she came out to check on me she saw a beautiful AmStaff loose in the yard. He was brindle and white.

Like she does with all dogs she got a slip leash and leashed him up. We brought him in at first but he seemed to hone in on the cats in a bad way. We tried him in a crate but he wasn't happy at all and he barked really loud.

Mom and Sis took him outside and leashed him up on the front porch and Sis made a nice comfy bed.

He still barked and barked and Mom was afraid she'd have to call someone to take him, not good for a Staffy, them being all mean and all *rolls eyes*. He didn't even mess with me.

Anyway, the story has a happy ending. The owners came by and heard him barking and came by to claim him. He was a real happy boy.

April Fools Worm Emerges

I just heard on Global News that there is a very sophisticated "worm" that will be hazardous to your pets on April 1st. Apparently it latches on to unreliable websites the flows thorough your computer cables to piles in the back yard.

"As long as you've patched or at least brought your antivirus software up to speed, you should be fine," said Chris Pirillo, a tech expert for CNN.com.

And there are plenty of dewormers available.

"I believe just about everybody out there," Pirillo said, "has a removal tool."

Still, the worm could cause problems, he said.
