I lost my dog, Sophie, about two years ago. I did not want to run off and get a new dog right away. So last March, I begin looking for a dog. I looked on virtualpetadoptions.com nearly everyday and went to the local animal shelter every so often to look around. Then one day I drove all over the place looking at numerous animal shelters and rescues. I just did not find a dog I connected with. On my way back home I decided to swing by Tony La Russa's ARF just to look at the dogs they had for adoption. I walked in and there she was. Right in the front window. A 6-month-old white terrier mix. She was adorable! I went in to see her and she immediately curled up in my lap. She was perfect. I took her home that day and she is the best!
