Bio: Tippi came into the family as a young puppy. My old dog, Reject, took her under his wing. Wherever Tippi was Reject wouldn't be far behind. Although 'Jec was old then, he was 17, he managed to keep up with a young puppy. Unfortunately he had CDRM, and three months after Tippi came to our family Reject left us to go to the Rainbow Bridge. Tippi missed him desperately, even though we still had our Rough Collie Dookie. Tippi eventually stopped pining for Reject and grew into a good looking young Shepherd. The one thing about her that attracted people to her was her ENORMOUS ears! She has the longest ears I have ever seen on a Shepherd. Neither of her parents had really long ears. Or her grandparents or her great grandparents. We really have no idea where they came from. Three months after Reject left us my husband died. Tippi was devastated. She wouldn't eat, she looked for him everywhere, she cried for him. She took one of his shirts and carried it everywhere. She wouldn't leave my side. She watched me constantly. She was so scared that, as Reject and my husband had left her, that I would leave her too. She started to eat again, slowly. life got back to some sort of normality. When she was three Tippi had a litter of puppies. They were beautiful. But she was so sad when they left to go to their new homes. We decided that she would have no more. It upset her too much. She was such a fantastic mother. Even now, if something or someone smaller then her comes into the house she mothers it/them. Two years ago (2002) we moved to Blackpool. she was aged 9. She took the move well. This year Tippi got Pyometra. She was desperatly ill. We honestly thought we had lost her. But after a total hysterectomy and eight weeks cage rest (because she is 11 her abdominal walls are not that strong so they couldn't support the stitches well) she has recovered and now acts like a three year old. Playing with our other dogs, and mothering Kitas puppies. Tippi left to go to the Rainbow Bridge. To see Tippi and her family, go to http://klaufigermanshepherds.page. tl/

On 17th November 2005 Tippi left us to go to the rainbow bridge. She died in the arms of her mistress and friend. Tippi is greatly missed, and her passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of all who knew her.
God speed Tippi. Good girl.

Mum took me to the vets last month because she was worried about me. The vet has now told Mum I have cancer. I dont know what cancer is, but it upset Mum a lot. I have to have pills every day now. I like the pills. They mean that I feel better, and I can play again.
