For the pups beyond the Rainbow Bridge,
We bow our heads, we shed some tears,
We know that nothing can take the place
Of the furry pals we loved so dear.
And even as the years go by,
A remembered nudge, a lick, a sigh
An old photograph will bring them back,
And tears will fall from many an eye.
We thank the good Lord up above,
For your doggy smile and unconditional love
The way you felt within our arms,
Your bark, your whine, your many charms.
We thank Him for your listening ear
The warmth of your body when you pressed it near.
Is it so surprising really, that you are called DOG.
You're a pretty good reflection of the love of our GOD.
For the pups beyond the Rainbow Bridge,
A voice is heard at bridge's end.
"Well done, true and faithful friend."
Your job and journey is completed on earth.
Play in the flowerfields, bask in the sun...
Chase with your pals and have great fun.
But keep your ears cocked while you're chewing that bone
You'll hear familiar footsteps---your human's come home.

It has been 2 yrs now since we lost you to a Heart Attack....You did not suffer...you went quickly.....Oh, how Mamma remembers that night.....Your Sweet face looking at mine, and I looked over at Daddy and said, "We need to get her to the Animal Clinic ER, NOW! I held you in my arms on the way to the ER and sang to you, and you put your head on my chest and then looked up at me, and gave me a kiss, and the look in your eyes, were you saying Good-Bye....then you laid your head back in my chest and I felt your paws firmly on my shoulders.....I just kept singing to you...
Then the vet came running out and took you back and put some
medicine on your ear to try and save you....it was too late....
The Vet came out crying....I tried saving her, I really tried..
The whole staff was back there in the ER, crying....They said
what a beautiful girl you were......Then they made me a footprint
of your front paw in cement, to have forever.....Molly even though
we were in the EF5 Tornado, God saved us, and in the computer room
was your plaque hanging on the wall, and do you know that God kept that safe for me, and the rest of the room was destroyed. I thanked God for saving that for me....It is so very special....
I treasure the footprint.....I treasure your Memory....
Memories....it was about this time in the evening that you
passed to Rainbow Bridge and to be in Heaven with God....
I went to a Quiet Room there at the clinic, and when they
unhooked you from all the machines, they brought you to me, Daddy had to stay out in the waiting room, he deals with
sorrow different than Mommy. He kissed you and said his
Good Byes in the Er....
I held you in my arms in your blanket and rocked you back and forth and the Tears were flowing....I held you for 2 hrs....and then I had to say Good Bye for the last time....That was so hard....
Alot has happened since you have passed to Rainbow Bridge, except one thing never changes, the Memories of you....playing in the leaves and sitting underneath the old oak tree, now that is gone....but the Memories are never gone.....
If only I had had one more day with you......
I Look forward to seeing you again someday, I know you are a very sweet and precious Angel, and I am blessed I was loved by you....
Love, Hugs, and kisses blown to you....
My Sweet Angel Molly Mae(Forever In Our Hearts)
Your Mamma

WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING
A message every adult should read because children
are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you hang my
first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately
wanted to paint another one.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you feed a
stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind
to animals.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make my
favorite cake for me, and I learned that the little
things can be the special things in life.
When you thought I wasn't looking I heard you say a
prayer, and I knew that there is a God I could always
talk to, and I learned to trust in Him.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you make a
meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I
learned that we all have to help take care of each other.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw you take care
of our house and everyone in it, and I learned we have
to take care of what we are given.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw how you
handled your responsibilities, even when you didn't
feel good, and I learned that I would have to be
responsible when I grow up.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw tears come
from your eyes, and I learned that sometimes things
hurt, but it's all right to cry.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw that you
cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be..
When you thought I wasn't looking I learned most of
life's lessons that I need to know to be a good and
productive person when I grow up.
When you thought I wasn't looking I looked at you and
wanted to say,’ Thanks for all the things I saw when
you thought I wasn't looking.'
