Arrival Story:
Gracie was adopted from the Humane Society of Broward County in Florida in March of 2008 when she was four month's old. I could not resist her adorable face. They could not tell me what she was mixed with but with her long legs, some have guessed and ears that can stand straight up, some guess Shepard or Lab. Although I am not so sure as she has a tendency to be somewhat aggressive. We are currently working on her manners and basic training...

Bio:
Gracie currently graduated from "puppy school" where she learned how to heel, sit, stay, lay down and come. She was the class clown who wanted to play and bark all of the time. She did a great job in class however and the teacher said that she did a 100% turn-around from the first day of class until her graduation day. she was even asked to go to the next level!

I had a fun Labor day weekend. on Saturday my mommy took me to the doggie spa where i spent the night. While at the spa, i got to play with the other dogs there, swim in the pool and run in the fields. i had a great stay. My mom picked me up on sunday and we went home and i went right into the swimming pool where i played for a couple of hours. My mom made me get out of the pool becuase we were having a party or otherwise i would have stayed and played ALL day. i was a good girl at the party and i played with the guests. it was a long day and i was tired at the end of the night. On Monday i played in the pool with my mom and dad and perfected my swimming. i just recently began to dive in the pool and fetch and swim from one end to the other. i LOVE swimming in the pool. and that was my fun filled weekend. i can't wait until the weekend again!

today, i got in trouble by my mom. i ran out the front door and chased a mother duck and her babies. i would not listen to my mom and i chased the mother duck across the street and into the canal. my mom was trying to catch me but i still would not listen to her. i kept wanting to get the duck! i did not get the duck but i did get a spanking and am now punished. can't a girl have some fun??!!!
