Jack (5 months) has a new sister named Chie (7 weeks), a blue merle Australian Shepherd. Together they are destroying the shrubbery; I think the yard will recover though. I've got to figure out how to keep her out of my fish.

Jack & Chie eat their meals, their cookies, & their chews together, to the point where they are practically lying on top of eachother as they enjoy their treats. Jack has learned that if he waits for Chie to finish eating that she will not be done until she's eaten his food as well.

He gives her his share of the organic peanut butter treats. I guess he doesn't like those.

He still sits on command even while Chie is ripping up my leg trying to reach the treats in my hand. I know when to be grateful.

Current food: Prairie New Zealand Venison & Barley kibble ($45 for 30 lb. Sheesh.) Favorite treats: any of the Plato selections ($15 for 16 oz. Shoot me.), except for the ostrich ones, which I just can't bring myself to pay for.

I should sign up for dog training but it's at 8 in the morning for--- I don't know, more than 1 Saturday. Bartenders' hours don't allow for that kind of schedule. I bought Michele Whelton's books; guess I'd better start reading.
