Best Tricks: He says he's not a trick dog...It's work.,,shake to get treats, do whatever Mommy or Daddy says Arrival Story: We went to the no-kill shelter in Goleta. He had been a stray in Lompoc (a farm / cattle ranching area -outside of Santa Barbara) . There he was --So Handsome!! He picked us ! He had only been at the shelter a week and they rejected 2 families for him- he was so intense, needed people that would really be there for him. We work out of the house, so we were able to invest time and training into our new "fur child". As soon as we gave him kindness and work to do (obedience, fetch), he bonded with us. Bio: Rusty has a dominant persona with other dogs- and a sweet, wanting to please attitude with HIS people...no other people matter to him, that is, unless they are throwing something.
