Arrival Story:
We were interested in adopting and had several dogs we wanted to meet. While we were waiting for the last dog on our list to arrive, Asia found us and we had to have her!

Asia is from Memphis, TN and the first six months of her life were spent with the dumb people that eventually gave her to the Memphis Animal Shelter. She was rescued by the Virginia German Shepherd Rescue just days, or maybe hours, before MAS was going to murder her, and (lucky for us) she was found and fostered by a wonderful woman in MD who volunteers for VGSR. This woman just happened to be fostering the last dog on our list and she brought that one and Asia to the adoption day at the pet store. Well the other dog didn't work out, but we were in love with Asia before we left the store!

My Day Out With Daddy

Today, I got to go out with Daddy. Jasper usually comes, too, but today was different. It was just me! We drove aroud in the truck. I like that because Daddy lets me sit in the front seat with him. Then we went somewhere I've never been before. We went in a store that looked like a doggy store, but the big, wet, metal boxes were there, too. I don't like those! I tried to get away from them, but Daddy wouldn't let me. Then Daddy picked me up and put me in the box and I got really scared. But then the scary people didn't come and get me all wet and soapy and Daddy didn't leave me alone, either.

Daddy gave me my bath himself! I'm still not sure I actually like it, but it was a whole lot better than the scary people. I was all warm and Daddy was real gentle. The drier was noisy, but my Daddy was there so I wasn't scared. He brushed me lots and I really liked that because it feels good. I felt really pretty when Daddy was done.

Then Daddy took me to the doggy store where I got to pick out my very own toy. I got to meet some nice people there, too.

All in all, a pertty woof'n good day!

Mommy and Daddy just told me I get to go to class again. I feel like it's been years and years since the last one. They say Jasper gets to go, too. That should be fun. I don't mind saying I'm looking forward to making the big doofus look bad. I can't wait!

Boy, this water is amazing stuff. Not only does it come from hoses, lakes, and oceans. Sometimes it comes cold and white, too. Daddy calls it snow. All I know is I LIKE IT!! I like to run in it and play in it, but the best is when Jasper will play with me in it. Boy does the snow fly then. Sitting in it isn't so fun though. It's too cold!

Ok, the big "Doofus" went to class again and just because he pranced around like a little girly dog, he thinks his p**ps don't stink! I can't wait till our advanced class starts and I get to go, too. I'll show him a thing or two! Daddy and I are practicing the stuff the big "Doofus" is doing in class. Boring! Been there, done that! But I guess the big Oaf needs all the remedial training he can get.

I'm NOT jealous. Really! Well, ok, maybe a little. Daddy tells me that I am much better at most things than....him. He's right, too. All I have to do is watch a little better and heal a little better and I'll blow his furry doors off. And I'm not even 1 year old yet, he he he.

Look out Jasper, Asia is a com'n.
