Mom really needs to get off the computer sometime...

Ya know, Mom spends so much time on the computer that us K9's hardly ever get a chance to get on Dogster anymore! So tonight, we highjacked the computer from Mom and she has to sit and watch Animal Planet or Medium until we're done.

Let's see...There's a new little brat in the house, her name is Deni. I guess she's all right, but she likes to climb on me for some reason. I'm tolerating her better that when Ally first came into the house so it's no real big deal.

The humans took off for California in March and left me (and Corky) at home with the human brother. What gives?? I know Corky doesn't like to be in the car, but I love to go on rides! Mom said that it's because there's a little human that I might get grumpy at and she didn't want to take the chance. As if. As long as the little human stays out of my face, everything would be fine. Oh well, I had a good time sleeping on human brother's bed and having the run of the house without being bothered by little brats!

Mom and Dad say that I'm getting a lot of those bumps on my back, but none of them are making me uncomfortable so they don't have to have the vet take them off. Mom also had the vet start me on some medicine for arthritis which seems to be helping because I'm actually playing with Dad and occassionally with the pups. I also had my annual shots last week...YAY! The vet started me on the three year rabies vaccine, that shot really stings!

Well, this old "grump" is going to bed now. Hopefully it won't be long until I get to write in my journal again! Bye!

OUCH!!

Mom took me to the vet yesterday because there's a bump on my front right leg that I've been chewing on for the past few days. The vet had her make an appointment for today to have the bump and another one taken off. So first thing this morning, she takes me there and then they gave me a shot to numb the area then BURNED the bumps off!! They gave me a shot while I was at the vet and are starting me on an antibiotic which I love! The only problem is now my leg is hurting, so mom gave me some aspirin to help with the pain. Hopefully the place they took off the bumps will hurry up and heal. Oh, the soreness! Oh, the pain! Poor little me!! Sympathy is always welcome! ;-)

Road Trip!!!

Whooohooo!!! We got to drive to Albuquerque today!!! It was a looooong drive, but I didn't mind because I looooove to ride in the car!! We went to a dog park and walked on some trails. It was kind of a pain because I got two burrs in my paws while we were walking, but Dad took them out right away. Then when we went into the dog park, I didn't much care for it because there was this JRT who kept bothering me. Dad had to pick me up for a while 'coz I was getting grouchy. Then they took us to Three Dog Bakery and I was a good boy 'coz I let them take a picture of me with the Grinch (yeah, Ally and Corky were in it too!). Mom got us some treats too...I know she got some stuff for Christmas, but I'm being good and not telling the girls. The next stop was PetSmart, mom bought more stuff for Christmas and also made us take some pictures with Santa Paws. I did OK there except I tried to hide once or twice 'coz the bright light hurts my head. Mom and Dad went to get some food while we slept in the car. Our last stop was at a pet store that mom knew of so she could get Corkster and me some canned Chicken Soup food. I slept for most of the three hour drive home 'coz I was soooo tired. I'm going to go to bed now, everyone else is already asleep. G'nght!!
