Favorite Walk: Anywhere Mommy and Daddy will take me.

Best Tricks: Kisses, kisses, kisses...Sit, down, stay,...beginning mini-agility equipment

Arrival Story: Ally came to us because we had recently lost our Pomeranian, Midget, in August 2004. Mommy wanted another Pekapoo because Bogey has been such a great member of the family and so she started looking all over the Internet and in newspapers for pekapoos. She finally found Ally at a breeder in Pueblo, CO. Mom and Dad made the 6 hour trip to look at the pups in person and came home with Ally.

Bio: I am actually 3/4 Toy Poodle and 1/4 Pekapoo. When my mommy and daddy came to look at me and the other puppies I made sure to be as friendly and active as I could so they would know that I wanted to go home with them. There was only me and my sister left, everyone else had been claimed, and mommy loved me because I was really active and kept trying to be as close to them as possible. I ended up going home with them within and hour of their visit after they took me to the local vet for a check-up. I love to sleep in bed with mommy and even though I'm tiny (3.9 pounds) I make sure to move mommy allllll the way over in the bed so me and my siblings can have the whole bed until daddy gets home.

Forums Motto: I **AM** queen of the house!!

Well, last week Mommy signed me up for another obedience class. It's supposed to be an "adult" class, but most of us are just under or just over a year old. There is a black lab that's only six months old!! Anyways, I just had to show off tonight. I did my sits, downs, and stays just right only breaking my stay when I got bored. Then we went over some jumps and did some pause table work. I was the best of course! ;) Mommy is also looking at getting me into a Canine Good Citizen class up in Amarillo which would mean an hour long ride once a week for nine weeks...Oh, I can't wait...yeah, right!! Well, I'll update next week...if Mommy lets me on the 'puter!! G'night!!

Man, oh, man!! I've really got to get the computer away from Mommy!! She hasn't let me get on Dogster for almost 4 months!! BAD MOMMY!! :P (I still love you anyways!) Let's see, what can I catch everyone up with???
At the end of February, mommy went to Lubbock and brought home a little sister for me...her name is Deni and she's a tiny Maltese. Mommy said that she'll be smaller than me!! We went to California in March during Spring Break. Mommy and Daddy only brought me and Deni since we're small and they said that we needed to learn how to travel. Bogey and Corky stayed home with our human brother because Mommy wasn't sure that Bogey would behave with our little human cousin since he can get grumpy. Mommy and Daddy didn't bring Corky either because she just HATES the car.
When we got to California, we stayed at Mommy's sister's house. It's a brand new house and with two little dogs (one not completely potty trained and me just stubborn sometimes) we had to stay in the garage in our exercise pen. It was kind of cold and the humans had planned for some decent weather, so we got to go shopping at Petco for some sweaters!! Mommy made sure that she took us on walks at least once a day and we got to play in the house for a while each day too. Maybe the next time we go there, the uncle and auntie will have planted some grass in the backyard and we'll be able to stay out there during nice weather. BUT, there is this BIG dog next door that kept on barking and it scared me!
On the way back home, we got to stop at Lake Havasu and saw the London Bridge and then stopped at the Grand Canyon. It was windy at the Bridge and we (us dogs) almost got blown away! At the Grand Canyon, it was COLD but we still walked around and got a lot of attention. Of course, being a tiny puppy, Deni got more attention (the brat!) but I did get my share too.
When we got home it was back to the normal grind. Mommy made me go sit in a puppy class one night because she said that I had lost my skills. She also made me run a few times through the mini-agility set that Daddy built, but I HATE, HATE, HATE the stupid tire jump!!
Deni has been kind of fun to have around. Since I'm bigger that her I get to bully her sometimes. I really do love her since she follows whatever I do, but sometimes I just want to chase and bark at her...Oh, and of course take whatever toy she happens to have at the time!! (snicker)
Well, tomorrow Mommy is making me go to another obedience class. She says that this one is an ADULT class...whatever that means! I think she said that it will go on for 6 weeks. YUCK!!!
Well, my paws are tired from typing so much...I'm going go to sleep. Mommy had better watch out and let me on the computer more often or I'll bite her ankles!! Just kidding Mommy!! ;)

Well, mommy has been telling me for the past several weeks that I was going to be "spayed" yesterday. She kept telling me that it would be easy and wouldn't be a problem. She also said that they were going to take some of my insides out so that I couldn't have any babies. What she didn't tell me is how much I would be hurting afterward!! Grrrr!! When we went to the vet yesterday, I didn't know that I would have to stay all day and when mommy handed me over to the vet, I started shaking because I was sooo nervous. And when mommy came to pick me up, I couldn't wait to see her and I climbed up onto her shoulder and was licking her all over her face. Then I yelped when she picked me up in the wrong place (where I was sore). Bad mommy!! Anyway, when we got home, she gave me some stuff that she called "aspirin" to help with the pain. Mommy said that I was moving slower than normal and when I tried to jump up or down on the couch I yelped more! Now she's picking me up whenever I need to get on the couch or bed!! Ahhh, my own personal slave!!! Last night, I managed to eat a small dinner then we went to bed.
This morning I'm feeling a little better, and as mommy says moving a little more normal. But, I'm still feeling a little sleepy still. Mommy already gave me a little food to make sure my blood sugar didn't go too low and now I'm getting ready to take a nap. All in all, I'm glad that mommy had me spayed because I'm too small to have babies anyway!! Well, YAWWWWN, I'm going to take a nap now! Bye!
PS- I only weighed 3.9 pounds when I went in yesterday. The last time I was weighed I must have just eaten since I was 4.1 pounds then!!
